I have just returned from a trip to Laos. Unfortunately when you arrive In Laos you will find that very few people speak English so it was difficult to find a Taxi or Tuk Tuk to take you there. In fact been able to speak french and this been a former colony I tried this but the response was the same.

The hotel staff were very polite and courteous and spoke quite good English. The room was spacious, clean and tidy with all the usual facilities in the bathroom, razor, toothbrush and toothpaste, shower cap, sopa, slippers dressing gown and and so on with a small mini bar and a kettle.

Unfortunately you were provided with tea bags but no sugar, milk or creamer but this could be purchased at the petrol station mini market next door.

Do remember to exchange some of you home currency into local as they will not accept anything except the local kipp.
