Booked through booking.com with a high recommendation. I felt robbed upon entering the hotel. It is next to a shabby neighbourhood and is in the old part of Astana. There are better hotels in the new part of Astana ( Radison, Marriot and Hilton). The outside temp was 30-35 C during my visit and due to a no function of... More

I wanted to be close enough to the main city to have easy access without the crazy high prices. This is a nice hotel. Conveniently located next to a large grocery store with a deli, so easy to get snacks. Easy taxi ride to train station, main government area. Pleasant staff. Not plush, but very comfortable. Even included robe and... More

Enjoyed my one week stay at this hotel. Excellent service provided by hotel staff though not all of them can speak English. Room temperature was comfortable. Food was ok except for breakfast: not much of a variety.

At first everything seemed perfect. Nice reception, nice WARM room, etc. But when I came back the receptionist apologized & asked me to move to another room because there was a mistake in there booking system. I didn't like the fact that I had to go with my baggage downstairs by myself without any assistance. But the worst thing was... More

Hotel at a level of 3 star, the rooms are large and spacious, fairly clean bathroom. Television transmission quality is poor, no electrical outlets near the bed. Outside the hotel there is a huge supermarket called green, also there was a good exchange of money at the gates. In hotel there is a Japanese restaurant that is open 24 hours... More

Situated in a neighborhood of apartment buildings and large shopping malls, this hotel offers decent accommodation at a fair price. Staff is competent, rooms and common areas well maintained and the neighborhood is safe. Others criticized the firm matress, I personally like it. Also, no problem with the shower in my room, except that the door is not closing well... More

Hotels are very expensive in Kazakhstan when you compare with the service. They have large rooms . Only problem about the room is TV, all TV channels are in Kazakh or Russian. Shower equipments are not good. Breakfast is really terrible for this price. but there is a Japanese restaurant at the same place. they really have nice Sushis in... More

Often stay in G Impire this year. Have used different rooms, different floors. Always the same problems: terrible shower equipment (never 'tune' right temperature and force), broken air-conditioner, absence of sockets near the table/bad. But nevertheless hotel deserve 4 from 5 for good staff, wholly satisfactory restaurant.

A hotel situated in a large apartment complex from the 90's in the outskirts of Astana. The hotel has several room categories, we went for one of the larger rooms. Appreciated the fridge which we could stock ourselves fron the next door 24 hour hypermarket. Only drawback was the underpowered airconditioning. Also, the hotel is not located very centrally however,... More

This is my first night in this hotel and I would categorise this as a basic hotel. The staffs are helpful and well conversant in English. There is a big supermarket next to the hotel, which is handy. The room is relatively small and an even smaller working table, hence I found this difficult to work on computers and other... More
