Very friendly & helpful staff who all spoke excellent English and had a good sense of humour. Arrived during a wedding reception - very pretty, ornate bride who was happy to pose for photos before she got married.

The title says it all - it's an old Soviet hotel in bad need of restoration to live up to its 4-star rating. It's not a 4-star hotel in its present form. Rooms are tine, beds hard as rocks, bedlinen 100% synthetic and - cockroaches. Shower head keeps falling on your head as you try to catch one.
