Villa Langka is a clean, quiet and simple hotel in a great area of Phnom Penh. The rooms were nothing extravagant, but were perfectly comfortable. The location couldn't be better for more upscale restaurants, bars and shops--a nice change from the slightly beat up riverfront area. Most of the staff were helpful and polite, but a certain few seemed irritated... More

The pool area was very nice with lots of greenary around the pool making a relaxed feel. The poolside restaurant did some excellent food (although it was expensive). The hotel has a computer with Internet for guests to use, unfortunately it broke while I was there and it took them 3 days to fix it. I found some of the... More

This hotel is a real gem with fantastic, friendly and professional staff who can't do enough to help you. I stayed in two rooms during my stay and found both really comfortable, safe and charming. On the second night I actually stayed in a room over 2 floors that was like an apartment - really pleasant and endearing. The pool... More

Staying at Villa Langka is a real indulgence - especially if you book the Suite on the top floor (although be aware that this is very expensive!) We booked it at the last minute and hadn't wanted to spend so much - but we are so glad that we did. We enjoyed two nights in the biggest room imaginable, complete... More

Rooms and common areas such as the reception, pool and bar are really nice and airy. It was great to relax and cool down in the pool after the unavoidably sweaty tours through Phnom Penh. The food is not bad either (although they had run out of half the dishes on the thrid day of Khmer New Year). All in... More

We loved this hotel - the design, the pool, the breakfast and the location. My friend had been sick for a few days and on arrival from Siem Reap was happy to walk into this hotel. The room and bathroom were top class ( although on the last morning the shower came apart in my hands?) and we found the... More

A lot of hotels bill themselves as boutique hotels. This one really is. In a very hectic city, it's an oasis of calm and beauty. There's a very hip, laid-back, mellow feeling to it. After a hot day trooping around, you can take a swim, way into the night, and have a great tropical drink to go with it. The... More

My client recommended Villa Lanka, having stayed there themselves before. I had a single room which was pretty basic but I must say comfortable enough. For $40 its hard to really complain. The aircon leaked a bit, the shower broke and the room was small and a little dark, but really nothing to complain about. The bed was very comfortable,... More

We stayed one night at the Villa Langka because there was no room at our preferred hotel. Because I am comparing the Villa Langka to our other hotel in Phnom Penh, I would not recommend it because the Villa Langka was not as nice, but more expensive. We paid $66 per night (compared to only $50 at a better hotel).... More

Arrival at night was a bit of a shock as the hotel is tucked down an unlight side street that looked a bit seedy, but not so bad in the sunshine next day. Hopes were high as we dragged our cases round the very pleasant pool area with breakfast / dining tables and sunloungers, but the room was dissapointing. The... More
