Very friendly staff, lovely warm welcome. We ate from the pool side restaurant several times and all the meals were wonderful (although a Cambodian serve of bacon might not be what you expect, but that is a national situation!) We booked a taxi through the hotel to pick us up from the airport as I had heard about problems with... More

We spent two nights at the Kabiki in mid August. This was a perfect choice, located down a quiet, traffic-free street, within 5mins walk of the Royal Palace. The staff were extremely friendly & helpful. The food, served at the pool-side was delicious. The pool itself was decent sized, along with a kiddies pool - all perfect for cooling down.... More

Booked one night at The Kabiki, loved it so much requested to stay another night but they were fully booked, the manageress Estelle did her very best to accommodate us and following a cancellation we were lucky enough to stay an extra night. I have to say the Kabiki breakfast was probably my favourite breakfast out of all of our... More

Friendly, helpful staff, although their English was slightly limited as others have said and they seemed inexperienced. It is a quiet street but sadly some of the guests and the incredibly loud air conditioner in the room overtook that advantage. There were a lot of mosquitos (even after the provided plug-in unit was used for a day), and the nets... More

Dear Guest, Thank you so much for your review. Indeed there is always room for improvement as the Kabiki team is young and there is no Hotelier School here in Phnom Penh. We are actually in the process of replacing all the AC and it should be done by the end of this month. During raining season there is way... More

This could be an outstanding hotel as it is neatly located behind a boom close to Prime Minister's residence. I say could be as it was not so for us. The grounds are beautiful and the pool area attractive but the hotel seems to be run by an extremely young staff, who just need a lot more guidance. On arriving... More

Dear Guest, Many thanks for reviewing the Kabiki. I am very sorry about the series of issues you had to face during your stay. Often, when there is a bad start, things keep going in that direction! But you are right and the room will be better inspected before giving them to the guests. I hope you will soon be... More

This is a nice hotel in a quiet street, close to the Royal Palace. Yes, you have to walk from the end of the street as it's the same block as the Prime Minister's residence but there were staff waiting for us when our taxi dropped us off to grab our bags so it wasn't a problem. Our room was... More

The rooms are lovely! We enjoyed the quiet street as it is closed off to traffic. The staff service was a bit inconsistent depending on who was on reception and that seemed to change frequently. However, the rooms are super comfortable, breakfasts good with a good location!

The Kabiki was our first stop on our first visit to Cambodia. As a family we travel quite a bit, but there is always a bit of anxiety about the first visit to a country with young kids. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and gave us good advice on how best to enjoy Phnom Penh with the children.... More

When you enter the gate of the Kabiki, you immediately feel at peace in the lush greenery of the garden. The fact that the street is closed to traffic because the prime minister is the hotel's next-door neighbor contributes to the sense of calm. Staff were unfailingly friendly and helpful with things like airport pick ups and laundry, but vague... More

We stayed at the Kabiki for 3 nights at the end of June. It's conviently located within walking distance to the Kings Palace, National Museum and the riverfront which is fantastic for people watching and eateries. We stayed in a room with our two children, the room was average size with bunks for the kids. It had a very efficient... More
