I was here alone for business and it was my 1st trip to a 3rd world country. My room was booked by my business partner from Phnom Penh as they said all their guests are happy with this hotel. Knowing about the price range of this hotel, I was astonished by the tasteful design when I reached there. It’s a... more

I have stayed at the Cara Hotel a number of times and found it to be the best hotel for the money in much of Asia. Anyone coming to Cambodia on business or pleasure I also book at the Cara and everyone has been happy staying there. The staff are the best I have experienced outside of a 5 star... more

I have been there last year and find it surprisingly beautiful. With that kind of setting, I guess it is worth more than the prices we paid for the 3 night stay. Expecially the foods, they are gorgeous. I expecially like the chicken rice pretty much and still miss those fusion starters that I ate. The hotel has also shown... more

We stayed at Cara after the original hotel (Blue Lime) we booked told us they were booked out and Cara was the only other hotel we could find for USD40. The girls at reception were unofficious and unwelcoming. We opted for the cheaper room option given we were only there for one night en route to Siem Reap (and lucky... more

Stayed at the Cara Hotel for 2 nights in Sept. Had it booked via Hotel Club. had no problems finding the place with the help of the location map and Google Map. A short 5 min walk to Wat Phnom. Lots of street vendors on the left side. Very safe and well lit area to walk. Although the main city... more

Cara Hotel was a little haven after backpacking and travelling from Saigon by boat and bus. The room is clean and spacious and the staff are very polite. The buffet breakfast is one to look forward to... a fusion of western and asian food. There is a convenient store/petrol station across the road to stock up on water, beer, food... more

A very friendly driver took us up from the airport and brought us to the hotel, the reception people are very friendly. The room is fine, not very hugh and a little bit dark, but it is clean and comfortable, with a good bed and a clean bathroom with a shower. Internet in this hotel is free. more

We stayed in this hotel twice when in PP and were highly impressed with the room and the service. The staff were delightful and went out of their way to be helpful. The room was very modern with a very comfy bed and great bathroom. The location is a bit further away from the main attractions but it only cost... more

I am a return stay to Hotel Cara, after many satisfy stays in Year 2007. However my return after 1 year later is greatly dissapointed, which I have seen degrade in term of their service. Location: For tourist, this area is quite far away from main tourist attraction. I stayed here because it is near to my work location. Room:... more
