My friends and I decided on this hotel at the last-minute after browsing several hotels in the riverside area of Phnom Penh. The Paragon Hotel is surrounded by lots of cafes, restaurants, shops and bars and the rooms facing the front-side of the hotel enjoy a panoramic view of the river. The downside is that the noise from the street... more

I spent 2 nights with a friend and it was good time without troubles. The best point is an excellent location in front of the river and easy to get nice places/restaurants by foot. It should be great if you can have river view from your room, but it is not useful to ask in advance. I sent 3 mails... more

The room was one of the worst I stayed in in SE Asia. There was no bed sheets, just a blanket. Do I think they wash that blanket after every use? Absolutely not. And our bathroom door lock did not work. I understand Paragon is reasonably priced but these are just basic things and they did not provide it. more

If you are not a backpacker (by "backpacker" I mean someone with no job, very little money, and used to sleeping in dumps) then pony up a couple more dollars and stay someplace better. The staff was less than useless, the room was dirty (thousands of insect corpses in the overhead light - Pol Pot would be proud), the bathroom... more

Maybe it is ok if you are a backpacker use to cheap hostels...but by no means is this a remotely nice place. I am not picky. I just need a clean room with a bathroom that doesn't make me cringe. This place has neither. Based on reviews from Tripadvisor, I booked a double room with a private balcony along with... more

We stayed here when we first arrived in Phnom Penh - we were concerned as to what it would be like, but had nothing to worry about. This is a clean and friendly place, although it's on the main drag along the riverfront so prepared for it to be busy, but nothing to worry about. Rooms are a good size,... more

situated on the river front in an excellent location for bars and restaurants and easy walking distance to the main tourist attractions ; room was adequate , regularly cleaned and the a/c worked so overall good value though note breakfast is not included in price. The staff were helpful and gave me good advice to avoid being scammed on my... more

Im suprised at some comments , i visited the paragon in May this year and found the staff very friendly and helpful , they took us up to see if we liked the room , provided milk and tea for us , the room was clean and tidy and had a door window, although this was locked , but then... more

We stayed at Paragon Hotel for a few days in February. It was generally ok, the location was good and the price was right, but there were some major issues while we were there and I think you can find better options nearby. If you want one, make sure you ask for a room with a window, as most of... more

Stayed here for a few nights on arriving in Cambodia. I had a room at the front, with a balcony. in front of the hotel is a busy city road that runs along the river. It is therefore quite noisy at times. However, its interesting to sit on the balcony and watch the street life! Expect a pleasant but basic... more
