This hotel I feel was over priced for the condition. Had to change rooms because things weren't up to standard and still moved to a room where a damp patch was on the ceiling from water damage. I think the only good thing about this hotel is the location as its directly on the river side. There are a lot... More

The Paragon is in a great location on the river front, however it is just a sleeping hotel, no restaurant attached, therefore breakfast is find your own. The room without a window is quite claustrophobic and the bathroom had a grumble at night and spewed up black liquid. The staff were very friendly and helpful all the same.

we had really nice stay in this hotel, room was clean and very comfortable, but we love the river view from our balcony, quite nice to sit and have some drink every night in the balcony,so we really recommend you to pay a bit more to get the rooms in front with balcony. The staff was very friendly and helpful, they went out of... More

Spent 5 nights here and it was a good stay. Clean rooms right in the heart of the river front. $22 for the room, 2 free bottles of water a day, frig and TV. The lads behind the desk were great, answering all my annoying questions with a smile and the mighty Mekong right across the street. Col. Kurtz anyone?

If you are looking for something with a touch of the past, try here. Faded red stair carpet, one lift that goes very slow but it gets there . We were on fourth floor room 401 which has a balcony but you share it with all the other rooms on that floor, about 10, except the room directly opposite you... More

Phnom Penhs Riverside is the tourist strip, where everything is a little (ok a lot) dearer and generally value is less. But just about in the middle of where its all happening, is a little hotel with rooms (middle room no window but ok and not claustrophobic and front room with balcony facing river ) ranging from around $17per night... Images of hotel would appear that this hotel is a large corner building; however the hotel itself is I think only 1 or 2 columns wide, ie there may be only 2 front rooms with balconies. We got one of them, and as zeus_7 says, it makes all the difference (from a rearward, windowless room). About $32AUD per night. Beautiful... More
