the Anise Hotel was recommended by friends who often stay there. After a disastrous accommodation experience in another part of Phnom Penh we found the Anise Hotel to be a oasis against the hustle/bustle of Phnom Penh. The room rates are competitive considering that a comprehensive breakfast & the laundering of 5 items per person are inclusive. We also found... More

My wife and I love this hotel. We always choose it when we travel to Phnom Penh and have stayed there many times over the past four years. It is well located for business and tourism and the rooms are simple but comfortable. The atmospheric verandah restaurant on the ground floor is a great place to sit and have a... More

Our family stayed at the Anise for 6 nights in two rooms. Great location, staff is so helpful, breakfast and laundry included in the room rates and the food was very good. We were part of a larger group and we all enjoyed our stay. There is not a pool but you can use one at the sister property, Anise... More

My husband and I stayed at the Anise Hotel in March 2014. We initially stayed for 3 nights as we were traveling to different places in Cambodia. We love it so much that we went back for a further 4 days just before the end of our one month stay in Cambodia. The staff were so friendly and organized. We... More

We loved our time at the Anise Hotel. They upgraded us to a bigger room on arrival and the staff were amazing. The room was lovely and spacious with our own little balcony area. The best bit was the restaurant downstairs. The food was the best we had in all of Cambodia. We spoke with other expats at dinner and... More

I stayed at this hotel for a short stint from May 27-29, 2014. This was my first time in Cambodia, so my family and I were ecstatic that the hotel was wonderful. I had initially booked 2 standard rooms, one with an extra bed. The hotel was nice enough to upgrade one of the rooms for me. The rooms were... More

The Anise Hotel is beautiful. Sitting out on the terrace for breakfast every morning or for a drink in the evening is a pleasure. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful - they make the hotel! Great location, free laundry, good food and clean, comfy rooms. Win!

I had a great time staying at Anise - the staff were very friendly and the breakfast was lovely on the verandah. The location was convenient with plenty of restaurants nearby and an ATM on the same street.

So, I'm a person that loves meeting local people and enjoying the local life. The Anise Hotel is the perfect space for that. The staff is amazing and it feels like home. The hotel is surrounded on the main floor by a veranda that serves as restaurant, happy hour spot, and much more. I've met good friends here and I've... More
