We booked this hotel the same day as we checked in, in a bit of a mad rush! We were pleasantly surprised with the quality to detail in the reception area, restaurant and bedrooms. We had a comfortable bed and good sized room. The hotel is situated close to restaurants and bars and it was within walking distance for us... More

Stayed here for 3 nights was collected from airport which makes life easier. Stayed in a deluxe double on the front corner of the hotel room 303. Room was very nice a good size and another room which is a lounging if sort of room which opens out on to balcony so a nice place to chill and read or... More

I loved this hotel. The beautiful patio style dining area, secluded from the street by greenery all the way round, creates a kind of respite of comfort from the heat and busyness of a day out in Phnom Penh. The rooms are very nice, comfortable, with AC (much needed), but the highlight for me was the service. Staff bend over... More

The Anise is in the perfect location. The staff are excellent and go out of their way to please you. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The hotel itself has an historical French feel about it...very quaint. I am in my sixties and very fit....The only draw back for elderly tourist is there is no lifts and if you are... More

Lovely hotel in a great position. the only downside is that there is no pool on site. saying this they do have a pool at the Anise Villas which look beautiful and make you very welcome to use the pool, they also do amazing cocktails. Very good position for seeing Phnom Penh.

Nice and clean room. That's what you expected of course! This place provides. They also provide you a nice driver to take you to Killing Fields, S 21 and all the other interesting locations in Phnom Penh has to offer. But they also offer you really nice food in their own restaurant, which is suberb! And their service is genuinely... More

I have stayed at the Anise several times over the years and always return there if I can. The location is excellent, with everything you need close by, including the big 'Lucky Supermarket' and loads of restaurants within a short walking distance, besides it's own 'Terrace' on the ground floor. It's not super luxury, just friendly, convenient and well-run -... More

Based on reviews, we booked here for three nights. Deluxe room. The room was okay, but worn around the edges. It had a sitting room and a balcony, oddly situated off the bedroom. The size of the room was good, but there was mold on the wall near the A/C, furniture chipped, walls need to be repainted, etc. But, we... More

Dear IMAdventures, Thank you for taking the time to write a review of our hotel. We are sorry your stay with us was not as enjoyable as it could been because of the construction across the street from us. As you might have seen yourself, it is difficult nowadays to find a place in Phnom Penh that is undisturbed by... More

I come here every year for a conference and even though the conference has moved location , I have decided to stay at the same hotel. As well as free wifi everywhere, I have breakfast included and five items of clothing washed every day. The staff are extremely polite without being over the top and have been very helpful considering... More

Hotel Anise is in a great location near the Independence Monument and a very nice pagoda just 5 minute walk away. You can meet interesting NGO people over dinner on their patio. Prices are reasonable and rooms are clean and comfortable.
