We stayed at the pavilion for 9 nights following the death of our beloved 22 year old son from cancer. We stayed in a pool room which offered us much needed nurturing and solitude. The hotel is small and very personal. I recommend the hotel as an oasis that also provides easy access to the hustle and bustle of Phnom... More

I wanted to try this hotel after having good experience with sister properties Blue Lime and Plantation. There were similarities in the furnishings and style, but this one felt a bit more upscale. Room was clean and comfortable. Very nice western style bathroom with a huge shower enclosure. Hassle free WiFi worked well. Rate included a nice breakfast with fresh... More

My sister and I arrived at The Pavilion at the start of our 3 week trip around Cambodia. In a way, this was unfortunate because as a hotel, it set the bar very high right from the beginning, and it was a tough act to follow! It is set in a great location. We walked to the Silver Pagoda, museum... More

Many thanks for all those kind words! Please note that at the second pool (SunPool) there is now complimentary coffee, tea, passion-fruit juice and a cake of the day round the clock. Cheers, Alexis More

We were recommended to come to the Pavillion by a friend who has lived in Phnom Penh for 3 years. She and her friends visit for drinks and swims when people they know stay here. It comes highly recommended by all their friends also. No children, so very quiet. It is on a busy street, very central, but all you... More

After having heard and read good reviews of the Pavillion we chose it for our stay in Phnom Penh. We booked a room with private pool but we could never use it because nobody cared to clean the water nor the outside terrace. The hotel is nice overall and the restaurant is good but our room was quite old and... More

Dear Guest, indeed I notice the four private pool rooms are a not at the top of our standard. I am therefore planning to refurbish and redecorate them entirely at the beginning of September. I hope our guests will like our new setups! Cheers, Alexis More

Stayed here for two nights after travelling from Chau Doc on our way to Siam Reap, firstly the good points, the location is lovely, quite near to all the central areas but also well hidden from the street. The two swimming pools are good, the one at the rear of the property is the newest and the nicest but is... More

Dear Guest, thank you for letting us know the lack of front desk follow-up for for the maintenance issue. This was brought-up at the last staff meeting and we are setting-up a system to speed-up the interventions. Hope we will not face such delays again. Very sorry the inconvenience. Hoping to seeing you again with us and that you will... More

We stayed in room 12 which is a private pool room. It included a very small ensuite, average sized bedroom (which was mostly swallowed by the large bed), small pool and a ridiculously tiny outdoor area. There was a safe, fan and air con in the room. Firstly, the bathroom was badly planned and whilst the room was small it... More

Dear Guest, I am very you had this accumulation of bad experiences. Usually people like our team and the Cambodian staff in general as they are really smiling and pleasant. Indeed, maintaining the outdoor space of a private pool room is challenging as we cannot access it in the afternoon. As for the condition of the private pool rooms, we... More

This was a really lovely place to stay as a couple: a real retreat from the bustle of the city. Such a beautiful setting, the communal pool was gorgeous- and I'd also recommend getting a room with a private pool which was amazing! Staff are friendly and welcoming, food is probably slightly overpriced but there are lots of really nice... More

Walking into the Pavilion is like going into an oasis from the hustle and bustle of the busy streets outside. You go into a lovely garden around the pool with a small bar and restaurant to reach the reception in an atmospheric colonial building which is very nicely decorated with antiques. We stayed in a private pool room. The room... More

The Pavillion is in a great location in Phnom Penh, very easy walking distance to the Quay, the restaurants along the river etc and close to the Independence Monument. The Pavillion complex consists of a 1920s or so villa that once was inhabited by Queen Kossamak, as well as a 1950s villa that was once the home of the Royal... More
