Good Location, food fine for the area you are staying in. Great staff who will go out their way to help. Only down side is the noise, in a noisy part of town just of Monivogne and the Temple next door starts prayers and chanting very early in the morning more

I found the Mittapheap hotel to be a comfortable, pleasant, hassle free place to stay. Hotel staff were friendly and ready to assist me. During my visit to Phnom Penh, they were willing to give advice concerning day trips to such places as Udong and Mekong island. The restaurant provided a pretty good breakfast, w/ the ever friendly staff so... more

I stayed here for 2 nights before flying out to Siem Reap. The hotel is pretty centrally located within Phnom Penh, only a 5 minute tuk-tuk ride down to the waterfront. The hotel has a couple of restaurants/bars, I checked out the cafe on the ground floor to use their free wi-fi, the food was ordinary and the wi-fi didn't... more

I stayed at Mittapheap Hotel for 2 nights during the last leg of a tour through Cambodia and Laos. No issues whilst I was there. Two small bars/restaurants within hotel - slightly overpriced, but handy and tasty. Rooms a bit small and dark - but clean and comfortable. Good location in city. Perfectly fine hotel - if you're just after... more

Reception staff seemed a little disinterested. Their english could have been better. Amenities in the room were sufficient except no wifi only cable broadband. Location not in prime hotel district although easily accessible to tourist attractions. Were advised by taxi driver not to venture into back lane at night. Restaurant staff friendly and helpful. more

All in all, not a bad hotel. for the price you're paying, it's fairly good reasonable. Yes it could do with an upgrade (as could the rest of Cambodia) but it's still not bad. Close enough to everything, a short tuk-tuk to the central markets & the mall, not far from most of the local sightseeing. We got a few... more

I was quite disappointed with this place as it was recommended by my travel agent. The breakfast was really a let-down. Location was so-so, room was below average but the staff at reception was helpful. more

Over the last four years I have been staying at the constantly renovating Mittapheap and had mixed experiences but my most recent was the worst and I will not be returning. The constant construction noise has been an annoying issue for the last four years and one wonders when it will ever be ended; we protested strongly when at 4.30... more

We booked a deluxe double for $27 a night, through Mittapheap Tours. Due to bitter experience throughout Asia, we triple checked via telephone and email that this booking was confirmed - a deluxe double with internet in the room. On arrival at the hotel we were shown to our room (407).....a small, dank, standard twin with no internet!!??!! On enquiring... more
