I stayed on 21 in FCC in a deluxe room. The place has charm, you feel the history and it is a fantastic location. The deluxe hotel rooms are big, but very used ( tired), they put me on the 1st floor which is extremely noisy just above the street. There is much better lodging at that price available. Go... More

Had read that this place was great and we ended up walking miles trying to find it after getting a tuk tuk to the wrong part of the riverside, wow we were so disappointed, busy and full of tourists eating western food at high prices, poor service at the bar, bad beer not cold enough, expensive cocktail which was poor,... FCC is the place to be when you visit Phnom Penh. The food quality is excellent, but it has to be since the price is quite high. The view is something you pay for, sunset view over Thonle Basac river is really good. Make sure you come in threes or fours, and way before 5PM if you want to get... More

Docked in Phnom Penh on a River Cruise and decided to go out for dinner. Heard about the FCC so decided to take a Tuk Tuk there and back. The food was ok - nothing fancy and it was a bit overpriced for what you got. It is the kind of place you would go if you don't want any... More

The location of this hotel is great and the room was amazing, but we got ripped off with the mini bar, make sure you work out what is in it before and after. Also the security on the street balcony rooms could do with a revamp, it didnt feel that safe. Check what room you have if you pre-paid, we... More

Maybe we were expecting more. Nice view, nice colonial place but the food was expensive and not so great. We took what they called "CR" (Chef recommendation), we ordered salads and fish and chips. The ceasar salad was served with recooked cold boiled egg, generally no taste and the crumble of the fish was thick and chewy like recooked too.... More

Great place this - sitting in the bar near the balustrade, looking out over the river and observing the chaotic traffic below us. The view if the two mighty rivers, Tonle Sap and Mekong converging was inspiring and we found friendly fellow guests to talk to which made for a really enjoyable evening. We just used the place as a... More

I would urge you to disregard 'erniep747's comment 'This city has so little to offer it is not worth coming here'. He speaks from ignorance. He didn't think much of the Silver Pagoda or Choeung Ek either....... The FCC is just what it puports to be - it's a bar, first and foremost, though they happen to serve food -... More

Flying over Phnom Penh the city looks big but most might only see a very small part of it and that is by the river. Coming into the Airport you have to line up , give your Passport, a picture, 3 papers for the visa and pay $ 20,-. Then you have to line up at another counter to get... More

We expected much more for what they are charging for these rooms. Frankly, the room was shabby and the place seemed rather run down. We stayed on a lower level room with a balcony. It's RIGHT off the lobby, which gets a lot of traffic since a lot of people come to have a drink or a meal there. While... More
