I had a gorgeous room with a balcony overlooking the river at the side of the hotel for $60USD a night, including a scrumptious breakfast. Comfortable bed, classy furnishings and huge bathroom with a massive high power shower and quality toiletries. Highly recommended, except for crappy service(couldn't check in until late afternoon, room not serviced until late in the day... more

I stayed here in Feb of 2007 and was impressed with the rooms and the service. The good: Location, free breakfast, unique rooms and friendly staff. The Bad: The noise of people going up to the roof top bar into the night, the barage of touts outside the entrance. This didn't bother me at all but my spouse was a... more

I have stayed at the FCC twice now and find it to be a good value for a hotel that is right on the river in a convenient neighborhood close to good bars and cafes. The rooms I have had are big, almost bigger than you need (how often do you say that?). On my first journey, I had a... more

Although we were travelling for 1 year we decided to splash out and stay for 2 nights at the FCC close to Christmas. It was definitely worth the money. The rooms are amazing. So spacious and luxurious with all mod cons. The view from our room was the National Museum...what a view to wake up to. Breakfast was very delicious... more

On a hot, humid day in Phnom Penh (which means, "most of them") the Foreign Correspondents' Club is an oasis. On the second floor, on the riverside Sisowath Quay, a short walk from the Royal Palace and National Museum, the breezy bar/lounge has a Happy Hour and serves a righteous gin-and-tonic. A good menu of sandwiches, snacks, and entrees. An... more

We stayed here for two nights at the end of a trip to Vietnam and Angkor, and apart from an excellent breakfast (incl eggs benedict), it was a bit of a disappointment. The room and bathroom were fantastic, but we were paying more than double what we had been paying elsewhere and the FCC was the only place to not... more

We stayed in the Bayon Room which was lovely and clean, it had a balcony which looked out to the river, the thing they don't show you in the photos is the many electrical wires which is your main view. They are currently doing work along the banks of the river which is all dug up - should be lovely... more

I read a previous review regarding the Directors Apartment at the FCC and almost cancelled on the back of it. I'm glad I didn't. The apartment is a few doors away from the FCC itself, which in a way is good as it doesn't get the noise from the bar (which is a very good bar to start an evening,... more

The Fcc proved to be a little shabby round the edges but full of character., just the way I like them. Great location, good cocktails and excellent breakfast and I would say good value for money. Any problems were soon sorted out by the cheerful and helpful staff. Give it a go more

This was a treat for us after staying in budget hotels for the previous few weeks. The Kbal Spean room was a sclassy as any 5 star I've stayed in. Big room with huge windows along two sides, good sized balcony to watch the world go by on thw waterfront. Best of all was the fabulous bathroom! I wouldn't hesitate... more
