The rooms are big but very basic, ours had a wall still on brick. The breakfast is very good and staff nice. But for a few dollars more you can have a hotel with a swimming pool on the roof overlooking the city like the Patio hotel. :-)

I stayed at this hotel for three nights and between my family we had three rooms and I couldn't have been happier. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were lovely. They were large, clean and nicely furnished. For the price, it is amazing value as breakfast was included. The location was great as it was only a short... More

I've stayed there a couple of times. Ok good size rooms with a/c. Centrally located and along with the amazing staff I would stay here again on my next trip :) In low season this is definately the place to stay!

Central location on the waterfront and close to a couple of the bus companies' offices. Clean tiny room and bathroom but fine if you're not spending much time there. Additional charge for internet.

Very old and grubby. My friend and I had to be careful to step around old vomit stains in the staircase, on the floor and walls. Despite this, we were comfortable enough in our room for our 2 night stay. The price for our twin at $30USD per night was more expensive than I thought it should be, but never... More

This hotel probably peaked in the eighties and hasn't been renovated since. The carpets are musty and there is an oder that permeates the property. However, the friendly, helpful staff informed me that this hotel would start being renovated on 1 January and the renovation would last for six months. We paid $40 for a river view room. It was... Booked here following good reviews in the Lonley Planet Guide. The Hotel was awful. Everything was dirty and smelt of smoke. We had to call them up to the room to change the sheets that had blood stains on them, the towels that were filthy, the pillows that were covered in stains. Breakfast was almost inedible, floors sticky and tablecloths... More

I agreed with Euter, from Spore's comment. The hotel looks good outside, but not worth paying US30 (I'm comparing the same price in KL hotel). The tap water always hot not warm. The lobby's cushion was torn. During check-in and check out it's quite slow.

We stay me and my family for 2 nights there. The first impression is that the location is good but this is the only good point. The rest was terrible. From the check in (no staff smile) to the check out. Between that, we wanted to find the ngo PSE to give them some present for the children. We ask... More
