It is the one hotel I repeatedly stay at when I regularly visit Phnom Penh to renew my visa for Vietnam. It is far from flash but it does the trick for me as its location in my opinion is perfect. Close to the water front where I get my Visa renewed with any one of the travel agents that... More

Didn't stay here, came because their menu boasted fresh made tomato and basil soup and something light was needed for someone with a stomach upset. What arrived was a cream-coloured gloop the consistency of porridge, and tasted of neither tomato nor basil, completety tasteless, in fact. The 'Irish stew' I ordered was a bowl of greasy gravy with boiled potatoes... More

Good ambience in this "Irish" bar - the previous owner was Irish but the present owners are an American man & his local Cambodian wife. Quite a lively place, serving food, drinks etc as well as offering accommodation, tour bookings etc The present owner is an interesting character. Worth stopping off, if just for a beer / drink

I stayed there in June 2013 but I could not pick the right date because this is a late review from my stay in June 2013, so I picked June 2014. The place was pretty nice, the problem was that I booked a room with refrigerator that was not there in the room when I arrived.

Just spent a few days at Rory's. Warm welcome comfortable room. Ideally situated right in the heart of Phnom Penh, lots of places within walking distance. But what makes this place special is the pele here, great bunch of guys, see you all next year.

You know you're in a Irish bar when you sit down at the counter and theres a 3ft pictue of Michael Collins right in front of you. Bars got a lot of character, theres a tree in the middle of the room, good solid wooden counter and loads of interesting pictures, footbal shirts and other articles decorating the place. Staff... I stayed here for a few days in May, beautiful central location, a stone's throw from National Museum & Royal Palace. No problems whatsoever, the owner Chad is a very genial host & his team of staff very welcoming & efficient. No problem with the rooms- nice hot shower, clean & secure room, bottled water replenished daily. Always someone to... More

A very comfortable bar right next to the Royal Palace. Great crowd of older ex-pats who all have a story to tell. Strong drinks and a great selection of music. Bar food is surprisingly good. Some of the best BBQ ribs I've had outside the States. Happy hour from 4 to 7 PM. American owner. Service is very good as... More

I booked this little guesthouse after reading some positive reviews, but I was disappointed. The room was smelly for the humidity, the air con was not working well, and it was noisy at night. There was no fan, which I rather prefer. The bathroom was not well kept and dirty. Then I had to leave early in the morning to... More
