The "Amanjaya" is located at a very nice place, I enjoyed the friendly service very much. Also beautyful view to the river and to the busy mainstreet. The temple area opposite is also very amazing. This short stay impressed me.

Looking at some of the recent reviews for this hotel, it appears that all some people want are bland standardised rooms wherever they go in the world - I certainly don't! Anyway rant over, the hotel is in a great location next to the Tonle Sap river, and close to many of the main visitor sites in Phnom Penh. There... More

The attractions of this hotel are its large bedrooms (junior suites, they call them) and its location - next to the riverfront and Wat Ounalom, and not far from the Royal Palace, National Museum and central market. It also has an attractive roof bar (Le Moor) favoured by young locals (and some seedy western men trying to pick up local... More

Stayed there for one night on our tour. First impressions was it seemed very dark and uninviting, staff were ok, not the best or the worst on our travels but efficient. Our room was cavernous, if a room could be too big this was it. The decor was a little dated and the rooms could do with a bit of... More

Clean spacious rooms in a convenient location, just a few minutes walk from the night market. Overlooks the Tonle Sap, with plenty of restaurants in the vicinity, including the excellent Titanic. Friendly and helpful staff.

We arrived here in Feb for 2 nights and had a really big room. It was located right in the centre of the city which allowed us to wander for a short time to see lots. It was too hot to wander for long. When we arrived my wife was quite poorly and the staff could not do enough to... More

We stayed here for 2 nights before heading off to Siem Reap. The location of the hotel is great, really central. The rooms were unnecessarily huge but perfectly adequate although perhaps looking a little dated now. I only have one real complaint however. We had a meal in the hotels restaurant, we were only half way through our bottle of... More

We stayed here on three occasions on a recent visit to Cambodia. The first time for 3 nights and the other twice for a night each. The staff were extremely helpful at all times especially the ladies on reception. The rooms were a good size and clean and the hotel was in a good location. The only slight flaw was... More
