I found this hotel to provide a convenient, relaxing and good value for money holiday experience. The room (Junior Suite) in which I stayed for three days and two nights was extremely large, well equiped, clean and well maintained. Both the room and the bathroom had a distinct and pleasant "character" to the syle and furnishings (wood and stone) but... More

We stayed 3 nights in this hotel and we had a good time;perfectly located in front of the Tonle sap and Mekong it is very easy from there to go exploring the city. The rooms are very spacious with a nice timber floor,a huge bathroom but infortunately the showers had a problem with the draining off. The balcony is OK but... More

We stayed in a junior suit which was an extremely generous size, beautifully decorated in a traditional style and had fantastic views over the river. I expected some noise from the busy road that runs in front and around the side of the hotel, but once the doors were closed the room was surprisingly quiet and we weren't disturbed at... More

The hotel was under repair when we were there so it wouldn't be fair to comment on its decor or design but the room was spacious and had a lovely balcony from which we had a spectacular view of the water. It was also perfect for people watching because there was a public park along the water front. It is... More

The bedrooms in this hotel were extremely spacious - we had a Junior Suite with a lovely balcony at the corner of the hotel overlooking to Royal Place grounds to the right and the river to the left. Mozzies could have been a problem in the room at night but the staff were very quick to provide insect spray as... More

We spent two weeks (in February) in Cambodia, splitting our time between Phnom Penh and Siem Reap. We also stayed at the Shinta Mani hotel, Siem Reap, and the White Mansion in Phnom Penh, which we have reviewed separately. We stayed at the Amanjaya Pancam for five nights before moving on to Siem Reap. The transfer from the airport takes... More

We were upgraded to this suite and it was approx. 800 sf--huge! Also, best shower ever. The Amanjaya itself is close to all the restaurants and bars on Sisowath Quay as well as the King's Palace about a block distant.

Upon arrival first impressions were lovely with cool wooden floors and a welcome fruit drink. We were upgraded(not sure how or why) to a deluxe suite which when we entered the room was incredibly impressive on size......huge!! However the floors were very slippy, the bed very hard, the toilet tiny(in comparison to the double sink bathroom) but the view was... More

The Amanjaja hotel is really well placed next to a pagode and only few hundred meters from the king's palace. Spectacular is the view from the top bar or the riverside rooms. The area around is noisy day and night - lots of bars, restaurants and massage shops. The hotel itself is furnished in modern asian style. The junior suites... More
