I was going to go average just on the view, but the management needs replacing. This hotel could be so much better with a little bit of money spent on it. Pros. In a great position, great views of the river, didn't see any rats. Cons. Nothing seems clean, even in a New Room as the manager put it many... More

I despair sometimes. What do some people expect?? This is a cheap hotel, in a poor country. You get what you pay for, and bugs are part of a tropical climate. And as for the rats, the Hilton hotel in London employs a full time rat catcher as there are so many there. I have stayed at river star 3... More

It is one thing to have some bad service.....it is another to check into a room that has a dirty toilet and sheets/pillow cases that have not been changed. The place was recommended by the taxi driver at the airport who obviously gets kickbacks. Asked for a late checkout as my plane left later in the afternoon and was asked... More

When we got to this hotel, we checked the rooms first and was quite happy with the view and service, however the wifi was slow and timed us out everytime you don't use it and the fridge was not working - we didn't mind this much, however at about 2am we heard a scurrying behind the bed frame which did... Great hotel for the money. Negotiated the price to $25 for a Riverview room. Had a great balcony and view of city. Renovation are underway, but did not impact our stay. Staff friendly and helpful. Restaurant also very good. Close to many sights and markets.

For $25 you get what you deserve Leaking showers / toilet. Fungy within tiles in shower. Poor looking hotel reserve for a quick bang No breakfast and little friendly service Make sure you get a receipt or you could be helping another corrupt Cambodian

Stayed for three nights and the best experience in Cambodia, I tell you. Riverside balcony with spectacular view to the river. Excellent elevator! Illy tea on breakfest. Stuff was so helpfull that they even guided us to gorgeus swiming pool for free. Tuktuk drivers located at entrance provided us with excellent weed. Don't mentioned a number of buetiful woman who... By far one of the friendliest and sincere staff I have experienced in quite some time. Nearly all of the people working there were super friendly and helpful -from the manager down to the cleaning lady. Rooms were ok, a bit pricy; I paid 30usd (discounted from 35usd) for a river view - but I was staying there near the... More

We wereshownphotos of a hotel with a pool! On arrival late at night after a look at several rooms with mouldy walls, a large cockroach was the final straw. Safety deposit boxes were hanging off the walls at the front desk. Prostitution was blatant and we were not impressed enough by the location to excuse the above. THIS IS NOT... More

There were rats in the walls, I could hear them scratching and moving around at night. Once a huge rat come out in the early AM and stared at me before scurrying back under the bed. Room was shabby, smelly and the furniture and TV badly outdated. The only two good things about this hotel for me were its location... More
