This hotel is a good base for exploring the Royal Palace and riverfront. Basic room amenities but without basic toiletries like toothbrush with toothpaste and razor. The hotel scores for location, it's about a 10 minute walk to the Riverside where food and watering holes are situated. Unfortunately there is nothing else to entice any consideration for a revisit. A Thai owned hotel 100 meters walk away from the Royal Palace, very friendly reception and other staff in the hotel. My corner room had a nice view over the park opposite the hotel. Room was big and clean. In my room wifi was not always stable.. Will defenitely return there.

I've been there for only 1 night on Friday 8th of March,2013 and somebody at the Thai embassy told me to stay there as it's owned by Thai like me. We had a great time staying at Regent Park. I was apprehensive at first reading the earlier reviews but when we arrived, i was relieved to see that it was a reasonably good hotel just in front of a park with the view of Royal Palace . This hotel looked great. ! I had a great room for a good price.....then the air con didn't work so they moved me to the Penthouse Free!!!! Nice hotel, very central in the capital. The staff was very friendly, but may be a bit too formal. The breakfast menu may be a bit monotonous if you stay there for a long time, but the food was very good. We had to change room due to a water leak, but they sorted it out in a good way.... More

I only stayed 1 night.The fixtures in the room had seen better days,the aircon leaked and the safe was broken.Also the view was non existent due to a structure in the way. The hotel lobby was very nice but maybe the rooms need updating.Also the internet in my room did not work.
