I like the GV Hostel. It's cheap, the stuff is friendly and helpfull. The food is good. If you search for an place to sleep and don't expect hotel-standards, this is your place. It's placed at the formally lake which is now gone, but can feel the old charme of this area.

Grand view is perfect for the average traveler budget. A single room is 4$ per night, you have to pay at least a dollar more for a bed in a dorm in the center of Phnom Penh. The food is good and cheap, same as the laundry (75ct per kilo)! The staff is friendly and good English speaking. Rooms come... More

It is a bit hidden away down a back street but it is a good place to stay cheaply. The too. Was a basic double with a fan and own bathroom. The shower was not hot but that was fine for us in the heat. The restaurant is so nice, lots to choose from, really cheap and everything we had... More

This is a perfect guest house if you're travelling with cheap budget. 5$ per night in a simple double room, with fan, own bathromm and window. The staff is really nice, allways ready to help you. You can also buy bus tickets and apply for visas at fare prices. And don't miss to eat something at the restaurant, very good... More

I spent several days at this guesthouse, and I think is a good place to stay. Is not in the center but for this the sleep is really good and anyway you can get in the city with a nice 15 min walk or 4-5 min with tuk tuk. The owner and the people who work there is very kind... More

So we went here thinking we would stay on the lake, with a great view in a quiet area of town. Getting there, we found out the lake is no longer there! So not really a Grand View! The place is very worn. Our room was ok, only $4 so cant really complain. No wifi in the room. No door... More

When Boeung Kak lake was still there & the area was a thriving backpacker area this wasn't a bad little place. Was heaps of bars, restaurants & shops all around and the area, although out of the way, it had a real buzz. The bar & restaurant here were good & still OK. The rooms are very tiny, & toilet/shower... More

Since the lake is nearly filled up, there is not much more going on in the area. I would stay at the riverfront next time. The staff is kind of annoying and got unfriendly as soon as they realized that we wouldn't be spending a fortune there. Rooms are good and cheap. The restaurant is good as well. Still wouldn't... Everything is pretty good as long as you can understand and tell what you want to the staffs. Recently, the big lake has gone. However, you still can see the nice view of sunset from the top of the Guest House. There are many available services such as bus ticket, fly ticket, visa service, restaurant, internet access, free high speed... More
