.The service and help shown by the Capitol was simply first class. I would like to thank them for arranging my Vietnam visa and the bus there, nothing short of professional. Yes, the rooms are bland but for $5 or $7 a night who cares. The restaurant is downstairs and trying to find one in the area good luck. Peace... more

good central location for food, shopping, internet and transport to other places. They gave us good information upon arrival and carried our bags up 2 floors to our room! The capitol restuarant downstairs does cheap cheap decent grub (espesh cheese and tomato omelette) and there is an internet cafe next door and a market across the road. more

I stayed at this hotel for 03 nights. The hotel is not atractive, however it has good staff and it is well located. The staff was very reliable for giving sightseeing information. They also have a very good restaurant. more

Stayed here as we were leaving at 6am from the same location on the bus to Saigon. you get what you pay for so we managed ok. on the positive you can book almost any trip from the the Capitol cafe next door. and a trip to the riverside (tourist area) on a tuk tuk is worthwhile and cheap more

We arrived and our tuktuk driver said, Are you sure you want to stay here? You could find somehwere else" Unfortunately it was the only one we could find at short notice. We booked in and well... it was all a bit grotty and greasy. I'm giving it a neutral review, since I didn't stay there- I checked out two... more

This hotel is a decent place to stay a night if you're just travelling through Phnom Penh for example. The hotels apparently has a lot of rooms of different quality; ours was a good sized, clean double room with a large cable tv. Decent value for the money, I suppose (15 dollars). The area where the hotel is located is... more

At $5 for a small, clean room with a/c, this was a terrific value. The room stayed cool, and despite the busy street outside, there was never any noise that reached my room or bothered my rest. The staff were friendly - always ready with a warm greeting when I returned, and they never tried to sell me anything. I... more

We stayed at Capitol 1 Guesthouse (they own about 4) after arriving from Siem Reap on the $4US Capitol bus - word of warning, the air con seems to start to fail after the first hour, must overheat or something and then the 6 hour trip is very very hot. We were on the 3rd floor with an end room,... more

Stayed here on my first visit to Cambodia. I got a pretty cheap room for 6 USD if I remember correctly. The room was clean and quite spacious, not too noisy even though it was facing a busy street. Downstairs there's a restaurant and plenty of moto drivers waiting for you. It's situated opposite a market (the Russian market I... more
