The Cambodiana has seen better days. In the past (i.e., just as Cambodia "opened" after many years of genocide and fighting), the Cambodiana was the go-to place. By far, the best hotel in Phnom Penh. Unfortunately, it hasn't been kept up very well. It is still a nice place to sit by the pool and have a sandwich or drink,... More

We had 3 nights staying this wonderful hotel. It is a clean hotel with modern facilities. The receptionist was the most amazing friendly staff in our traveling experience, highly appreciated their attitude on supporting us many times. Our rooms are lovely, well-kept, nicely-decorated and special for what we paid for. We will recommend it to our friends. More

Very large hotel with friendy staff. Halls are really long. Rooms are showing their age especailly the bathrooms. Mattress spings are loose. No free wifi, wifi very expensive. Good breakfast. It is a ten minute walk from the hotel to the activities of down town , and restuarants. More

This is perhaps an "old-style" hotel, but not in a negative way. Some 10 years ago it used to be the top place in town. It still retains some of its lustre. Rooms are big and many have gorgeous Mekong views; there's a pool by the river; a lounge kind-of restaurant is to open soon next to the pool area.... More

I crossed the street this time to stay at the Cambodiana (i stayed at the Landscape on the last visit - the Cambodiana is almost directly opposite the Landscape). The difference is marked. A broad driveway leads to the hotel entrance and its friendly, approachable staff. The Cambodiana exudes old world charm. My room had a glimpse of the Mekong... More

I have stayed here 5-6 times over the past 3 years old hotel, but that I think is part of its charm. Very efficient and friendly staff excellent laundry service and the food is good. Normal rooms needs to be upgraded , but the junior suites are very good. Can definitely recommend this. Hotel More

As I approached the Cambodiana by taxi, I had this impending feeling of doom and dread as if I were to step into an ostentatious building with as much charm as a sleazy casino that has seen one too many old men with big cigars and gold chains. Alas, part of that held true when you see the clientele that... More
