I was there for one night at top floor superior room, nice view. The surrounding is not so good not many places to explore, need to take tuk tuk to shopping mall and only one and F & B outlet in this hotel, the price and the food are ok, I think overall is ok if only for one night.

My friends and I stayed at this hotel 12 nights and on numerous occasions we found ants or other bugs on our beds. There were cockroaches, ants, and lizards in the rooms. My friend even saw a huge rat going into the washroom on the lobby. In addition to all these problems, some of our rooms were never serviced. We... More

I was staying on the 9th floor of the building (the topmost floor). From here the views are simply breathtaking. Upon checking into the room I found no place to plug in my laptop (which has a US-style three-pin flat plug), and the reception staff flatly refused to find me an adapter. Later on, the toilet started overflowing and I... More

Pros: The room is big and even has a view Cons: The wifi wasn't working in my room so I sat in the long lobby. The majority of the foot traffic into and out of the hotel were hookers with their johns. One even stopped by and propositioned. When I ignored her, she blurted out, "Fi dolla" (they don't end... I paid $15 daily for a giant room with 2 double beds. I found it odd that they didn't offer me a single room, but I assume they had none. $15 is a fortune in Cambodia, but I find it a very acceptable price for the room. The staff are very friendly, but only very few of them speak fluent... More

Stayed here a couple of weeks ago and wish we hadnt. Was in a very run down section of town that had nothing to offer. No shops or malls nearby and theres no way you can walk to the markets or any landmarks in 15 minutes. It took over 25 minutes to get from there to the airport. The restaurant... More

Stayed here for a night and our tuk tuk driver looked rather concerned we were staying here! He said that it is a hotel mainly for locals and weddings but we went along with the original plan and stayed here. Rooms are huge and could easily fit 5/6 people! For the price we paid the room was of excellent quality... More

I had a very good experience at Lucky star 2. Very good value, big and comfortable room, staff very friendly. Definitively I will come back here next time. The hotel is situate near "Orosey Market" and CAPITOL bus station (only 5 min tuktuk).

I have stayed at the Lucky Star 2 on several occasions during two separate trips (once in January and again in August). The elevator is small, so be ready to use the stairs. If you are staying on a higher floor, be prepared for a quick and easy workout to your room. For such a cheap hotel room (under $20... More
