This hotel is ok for a short stay and no longer. Not the greatest of location as its in a middle of a junction, so traffic noise can effect you stay. Not the best customer service, as the reception staff hardly spoke english and it was difficult to obtain much information from them as to where attractions to see. Out... more

Stayed at Holiday Villa hotel, Phnom Penh, Cambodia for 3 nights. The rooms were clean throughout our stay there. Hotel staffs were friendly . The only setbacks were Aircondition and lift. We were unable to adjust room temperature because air condition controller was out of order. The other thing that need to be replaced is hotel lift. Too slow, walking... more

Rate wasn't bad. Air conditioning was sub-par. Stay here if you're needing a night or two's stay, and can't find anything else. Wouldn't recommend it, wouldn't tell people to shy away. more

This hotel is better than Lion City Hotel in Singapore!!! Firstly, this hotel serves halal breakfast, buffet style. This is a Malaysian hotel chain therefore the direction of kiblat is provided in the room. I went there with my siblings and cousins. We had connecting rooms. The rooms are huge, bigger than the Coronade in Kuala Lumpur. The toilet's clean.... more

This hotel has not been refurbished for probably 20 years. It is located at a noisy street corner in P.P. I left after 1 night. Terrible. more

The GM was there when we arrived and he promptly greeted us. He asked us where we were from and showed us where to check in. We were invited to a "teh tarik" and he told us about the sights of Phnom Penh. He offered some advice and was helpful to us. We were there on business. He was a... more

The bathorrom was dirty and the linen cheap. Part of a Malaysian chain and the rooms need updating. A bad location away from the river and woken at 4.30am by nearby mosque. more

This property is quite old and in an urgent need of renovation. I guess the price was fair for the quality of the hotel, but for sure you can get something more decent-looking for around the same price. Nevertheless, the staff was really friendly, helpful and didnt experience any of the prostitute situations mentioned. more

We were extremely disappointed as the room of Holiday Vila was not clean and and my female colleage did not feel safe at night. We travelled extensively in Vietnam and Cambodia, and this was the only place I felt unsafe. I would not recommend lone females stay here. The majority of the client at the hotels are expats and older... more

We booked as a last minute deals. On arrival, when the attendant realised we had recieved a discounted rate she became extrememly rude. The rest of our stay was marred by inadequate service, rudeness (on behalf of the same woman) and being quoted exorbitant prices for tuk tuk rides. Having been to Cambodia numerous times, i am quite aware of... more
