We stayed here to escape the horrible one night we had in another hotel so this was a pleasant stay in comparison. We didn't stay in the room much, only to sleep and shower so we were happy enough with what we got. Had breakfast early as we needed to leave for our boat and they were happy to start... More

I can only repeat what others have said. You stay here for the location and the low price. If you cannot handle a narrow staircase go elsewhere. The welcome was fine and they helped get our heavy suitcase up the stairs. The room was bare bones but we are not picky. The breakfast was OK. They would refill your coffee... More

Right opposite Royal Palace and museum, easy to walk to river, many restaurants and tuc tucs on doorstep, de luxe rooms have view of palace, bit pricey compared to nearby hotels as no extra facilities apart from a bar which is rarely used, breakfast okay, not buffet, choose from a menu

Had an OK stay there for 2 nights. Room seemed small in comparison to the Agoda description, but I did not have my tape measurer with me so I did not argue. Also had a corner room with a great view of the palace. Pros: - Excellent location, next to the royal palace and even a view on it from... More

I enjoyed my stay at the Diamond Palace II and found it to be a fairly good value for the money. I would not call it a palace in the least but I would recommend it to budget travelers. I ended up staying a few weeks though most would probably only want to stay a few days. The hotel is... More

This hotel is on the side of the Royal Palace and 1 block to the National Museum. The riverfront is about 200 metres walk. The hotel rooms are on 3 levels and there is no lift. The stairs could be a problem for some. The rooms are magnificent, I had a deluxe room, overlooking the street, great furnishings, lounge chairs,... More

I've stayed twice (both times in October 2014) at this budget hotel and I can say is very good value, I can add considering that I paid around less than $ 20.00 per night the rooms are nicely appointed.I enjoy the location in Street 178 which is a stone throw from the river side , Royal Palace and National Museum.... The pictures on the website were much more impressive than the real thing! We booked a standard room at $22.50, for 1 night. The room was very small, with no window to the outside and it smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. The bed was comfortable and the room was reasonably clean. The door handle on the inside of the bathroom... More

Great place to stay because most of the tourist places are nearby on a good walking distance. Had a small room, basic but good and can not complain about their service. Maybe breakfast can be a bit better but that's just a matter of taste. Must do:eat at the friends restaurant nearby, best place in town with amazing delicious food!
