Neighbourhood is oké, but almost all distances are too far to walk. But many tuk-tuk drivers are welcoming you as soon as you leave the gate. No elevator, so you must walk max 3 floors up all the time. Gently staff very helpful. Small swimmingpool with limited sittingspace. Wifi is sometimes unsteady and not easy to receive everywhere in hotel.... More

This is quite a small hotel, in a residential area that also has a few restaurants. There is a small 10m pool downstairs, along with a beer bar with draught beer at a very reasonable 75c per half litre. There is no lift so if you are bringing in and out a lot of bags/gear it's worth requesting a ground... More

Stayed at the Monument for two nights. The location is very peaceful for Phnom Penh, in a quiet neighborhood, but rather far to walk to many major attractions and the riverfront. We did not receive much of a welcome, or any help with bags, upon our check in. The standard room we had seemed a bit dated, and the bathroom... More

We stayed in a room which has a balcony overlooking the pool and the street. The balcony is also accessible from the common corridor! They only put 3 big flower pots as divider. The room looks like in need of some upgrading. The sliding doors to the balcony can not be closed completely and we need to use a string... More

Enjoyed my trip staying here, it was a great location and rooms for the price. Breakfast spread was not much but enough of both local delights and eggs/toast. Rooms are clean and made daily. Showers are comfortable with electric hot and cold water

For work I stay now already one month in Monument Hotel. I really love this place still! The staff is so nice, friendly, happy and helpful and they always give good advice where to go or where to buy. The breakfast is a nice buffet with fresh fruit, yoghurt, muesli and they change everyday a few hot Khmer and western... More

Overall, the hotel is nice, it has a swimming pool, small but enough to accommodate you and your friends :P Location wise - the royal palace, national museum, and riverfront are just nearby. And... Hotel staffs are friendly and oh I like the buffet breakfast too (:

We have stayed here now two times and it is still a very good place to stay. We love the service and the staff. The pool was very nice and clean with the message jets. Hotel staff were really helpful for everything.

Nice hotel, with good but kind of small rooms. Wifi was the best we had during our trip. The pool was also very nice with a couple of sunchairs. How ever it was only in the shade. The breakfast buffet was good and the hotel was walking distance to all the major attractions
