Small and cute little hotel, good breakfast on the roof. Well located, cute little restaurants and very close to the Royal Palace. The customer service is amazing. They remember our tastes and desires. We asked for an early breakfast as we were leaving at 7am and they bought us French pastries for the road. Communication is the key, and they... More

I was surprised when I arrived at the hotel. Welcome by 2 Taiwanese lady. A little warm feeling that we speak the same language, Mandarin. Place was cozy, clean and quiet except a few mozzie flying around probably from the balcony when the door was opened. Breakfast was a la carte. A little flaw like missing teaspoon and sugar when... Rooms were beautiful, clean and spacious with comfortable beds. This contemporary hotel is what you would call top quality without any artsy detailing at a great price. Away from the hustle bustle of crowds with just a 5 min walk to the famous Pub Street. We were welcomed with smiling faces and a very much needed iced bamboo tea and... More

Very central, housed in a mansion used by the UN post Pol Pot, large, clean rooms with AC, satellite TV and very fast wifi. Nice pool. Staff delightful and helpful. A tad worn at the edges but for these prices in this location, who's complaining?

We stayed here twice on our recent trip to Cambodia. The staff and the manager were friendly, professional and super helpful. Our room was very nice - good aircon, wifi and an excellent mattress. When we returned from a weekend away, we were upgraded to a lovely room at no extra charge! The staff bent over backwards for us. We... More

My boyfriend and I travelled here from Ho Chi Minh City and this was the first place in Cambodia that we stayed. We got dropped off in the city centre by the bus, and jumped on a TukTuk to the hotel. It's a little out of the way from the main city (about 10 minute tuktuk ride) but the benefit... More

This hotel is an old Phnom Penh colonial mansion and except for a steep flight of stairs, I could find nothing not to love about Monument. Location wise, it is at the city center and the Palace, river etc are all within walking distance. There are plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, bars, stores etc around and public transportation is easily... More

I booked one week at Monument Hotel before going to Siem Reap. I chose it simply because of a special offer from Booking.com. Upon my arrival, the first room I was ushered into developed an odd smell from the bathroom, and the toilet leaked. When I complained, the staff were extremely apologetic and offered me the ground floor pool-view room.... More

This has been a much better property in the past. It does appear that the lack of maintenance is becoming pretty chronic. The Staff in spite of this really went to great lengths to make sure we were comfortable. The property has a great pool and as the temperature in Phnom Pen was excessive of late, it was a blessing.... More

I just stayed here for a couple of weeks, now the rooms and fine and comparable to other hotels in the price range. It's an older building so has all the charm, including no elevator. If you want modern slick interior and features this isn't the place for you. What sets it apart is the service, not only did they... More
