The place in itself is really good value for money : clean and confortable rooms, nice pool, good location. The sole negative points to mention is the staff. Don t try to ask any question, get infos or give your laundry. A real lack of professionalism and experience..

Friendly and helpful staff, but way too expensive, 28$ ,dirty walls , bugs... shower in bathtub , insufficient pressure, no safety deposit, bar stays open. Close to royal palace, supermarket.nightlife,KFC for those who like. Phnom Penh is a dirty town

Was a simple stay here with no major problems. Nice bed, decent room, nice big bathroom, nice pool outside, small but good breakfast included, lovely staff, fresh towels and made bed and clean room daily. But: toilet was leaking, crazy rouge shower head and no shower curtain, wifi kept dropping out, and no safety deposit box. Good location and the... More

My partner and stayed here for 2 nights in January I booked a double room online for around $30, and I think this possibly cost us. On arrival the room we were placed in was not as pictured, and formed part of the older building opposite the hotel on the same block of land as the pool (which in itself... More

This hotel looked dated and a bit run down. Our room was OK but the door to the bathroom wouldn't close (wooden door was too large for the doorpost) and it looked a little grungy. For $28 I would expect more or at least a better area. Hotel staff were nice enough but not overly helpful. On a small quiet... More

Our room was quite old and "used". We were on the other side of the street (where the pool is located). We also had ants in the room... Breakfast is poor and with no love (TV is for the staff more interesting). Overall the stay there was okay but i thonk next time we will choose an other location.

I stayed here for two nights in January 2015 The staff were very friendly and can book coaches to other destinations in Cambodia and give advice/free map on how to get around. Breakfast wasn't great, toast and fruit and it wasn't stocked up fast enough. There is an option for omelette/scrambled eggs freshly cooked but be prepared to wait if... More

Good valued hotel with spacious and clean room. Helpful staff helped arranged transports at reasonable prices. Location-wise slightly away from city centre, but not a problem as Phnom Penh is relatively easy to travel.

We were recently in Phnom Penh for two nights and chose the Royal Mekong based on previous good reviews. Whilst the stay was adequate, we felt that there were a few issues which did affect our overall impression of the hotel. Firstly, a few positives about our stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful and speak good English. The... More

Me and a friend booked a standard double room. Upon arrival the room was across the road in a different building of the hotel. It was in a back building up stairs with one other room. There was no staff located on this side of the building and just a simple gate. - anyone off the street could follow us... More
