Thought this was a nice hotel. The owner speaks fluent english and is very helpful. Breakfast was ok but not brilliant. The hotel location is excellent. In comparison to other hotels I stayed in during , y trip I thought this one was a bit overpriced.

I thought for a reasonable $25/night I would get something reasonable in PP. I was wrong - the Royal Mekong "Boutique" Hotel is anything but. As mentioned in the title the wi-fi cuts out often (not good when I do web-based work), the buffet breakfast is atrocious, laundry prices are over-charged, the room has no windows. I would not recommend... More

Very hard not to love this hotel and their staff! The room was very clean, the bed comfortable, a very spacious bathroom with rain shower, air con, in room safe and a flat screen TV with lots of channels, and daily breakfast. This hotel by far has the most wonderful, memorable staff I have ever encountered - from the General... More

Loved this hotel! The staff were so friendly and loved having a chat with us! They couldn't do enough for me, even gave me a little tub of tiger balm to use on my insect bites after a day at the killing fields! Room was gorgeous, clean and huge with an amazing bathroom! Would definitely be my first choice of... More

We stayed here for 1 night originally in a superior double room which includes breakfast the next day. The room is very spacious with the best bathroom we have seen in on our entire trip to both Thailand and Cambodia (a shower I can actually stand up in!!!) We liked the hotel so much that we decided to stay another... More

Service is good. Reception is friendly and polite. Room is clean and nice. Basic facilities including hair dryer is provided. However, there's lots of mosquitoes at Level 1. And there is no lift. We stayed at Level 3, but thank God we traveled light.

It's not too close to the riverfront, but the rooms are cleaner, the restaurant and wine selection are fairly good. The lobby and furniture are very comfortable and the reception is friendly. The price will be higher, but no one will try to sell you cannabis as soon as you walk out your door in the morning/afternoon. If you want... More

My son and I stayed here for two nights in mid July 2014 - and the feedback we have is mixed. On the positive side; the building has a certain retro charm to it, and it's fairly comfortable too - it's two floors only; there is no lift. Beds are also comfortable -which in Cambodia seems a luxury to find-... More

We stayed in a room in the buildings across the street (where the pool is). Neg: - Walls are made out of cardboard: you can hear everything your neighbours are saying.
