Stayed here this week. When we booked the hotel the website said that we would recieve a welcome drink and a fruit basket. We didnt recieve anything. What we did get was a room in the building across the street. The room was nice, clearly brand new as it was unfinished. There was a masdive hole in the bathroom wall,... More

This was our first but definitely not the last visit to the Royal Mekong Boutique Hotel in Phnom Penh. The location is fine, just behind the Royal Palace and within walking distance to the river and the Russian market and Night market. There are many dining stedder nearby, and the hotel itself , doing alright food. The hotel is an... More

My friend found this delightful gem, tucked away in a quiet street and still close to all the actions of Phnom Penh. Staff here speak various levels of English (yes, communication may be a slight problem if you haven't mastered the Asianized English such as 'no have'), but share the same enthusiasm when it comes to customer service. I usually... More

This hotel may not so well known by tuk tuk driver even there are no complex street pattern and name at Phnom Penh. Perhaps, more promotion and time will improve this hotel name. Though no lift at this hotel, would this cause any inconvenience to traveler who stay upstair, unknown because i was allocated a room at ground floor, :)... More

If you want a quiet hotel away from the hubbub then this is to be recommended. A 10 minute Tuk Tuk ride to the waterfront with Tuk Tuks always available outside the hotel, These Tuk Tuk drivers are known to the hotel and are very good at arranging your excursions and will take you around the sites for around $20... This was the first hotel we stayed in on our trip to Asia so at the time we didn't have anything to compare it to. The hotel arranged a taxi to meet us at the airport which was helpful. I would recommend using a tuk tuk to get around the city. We walked everywhere and apart from taking your life... More

We recently spent 8 days at this hotel on a combined holiday and business trip. Its an excellent 3 star choice. The location is quiet, away from the tourist night scene, but still quite close to the river, off Monivong Blvd on a quiet side street that carries relatively little traffic. Rooms are large and well furnished with good AC,... More

I am a regular visitor in Phnom Penh and I found this nice hotel through Booking.com. This hotel cost me $ 46 for a junior suite and it was great - quiet, very helpful staff, good room, rain shower, 80 channel TV, air conditioning, and one of the best hotel breakfasts you could hope for in this price range. The... More

the hotel location is not its advantage, however, the friendly staff made it the best choice. the room is clean and spacy. the shower is very good. the staff is very attentive and always ready to help. the rooms are without balcony or comfortable sittings which may be improved in the future.

Pros - good location to initiate visits to silver pagoda, national museum and both markets and nightlife - nice and stylish interior, cosy seatings on the way to the room, we liked the building - super friendly and helpful staff, we made a last minute booking (same day) they were kind enough to book us a similar room at another...
