Our room was quite old and "used". We were on the other side of the street (where the pool is located). We also had ants in the room... Breakfast is poor and with no love (TV is for the staff more interesting). Overall the stay there was okay but i thonk next time we will choose an other location.

I stayed here for two nights in January 2015 The staff were very friendly and can book coaches to other destinations in Cambodia and give advice/free map on how to get around. Breakfast wasn't great, toast and fruit and it wasn't stocked up fast enough. There is an option for omelette/scrambled eggs freshly cooked but be prepared to wait if... More

Good valued hotel with spacious and clean room. Helpful staff helped arranged transports at reasonable prices. Location-wise slightly away from city centre, but not a problem as Phnom Penh is relatively easy to travel.

We were recently in Phnom Penh for two nights and chose the Royal Mekong based on previous good reviews. Whilst the stay was adequate, we felt that there were a few issues which did affect our overall impression of the hotel. Firstly, a few positives about our stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful and speak good English. The... More

Me and a friend booked a standard double room. Upon arrival the room was across the road in a different building of the hotel. It was in a back building up stairs with one other room. There was no staff located on this side of the building and just a simple gate. - anyone off the street could follow us... More

We stayed here for three nights while in Phnom Penh and enjoyed the place. We booked the largest and most expensive room category because it was only a few dollars more than the other view rooms. The room was HUGE. The bed was nice and big, TV was new and got lots of English channels, there was a mini fridge... More

I hate leaving bad reviews, but...Tiny ants are EVERYWHERE in the room. On the walls, in the sink, all over the ground, in the bathtub and on the BED. Very disappointed. The service people were all very friendly, and the facilities were very nice and spacious. However, the ants are inexcusable as I have been to other hotels in Cambodia... More

We booked a deluxe room that was advertised with view. The window of the room we got went to a high wall 1 meter from the window so that light couldn't get in. The floor was made of grey and cratched concrete similar to car repair workshops. Not even lukewarm water was available in the bathroom. There is a small... More

I stayed in December 2014 for 2 nights with my girlfriend. We stayed in a room next to the pool over the road from the main reception. We really liked the style and decor of the hotel - very understated and a bit 'shoreditchy' - rare for SEA. The staff were friendly and hard working but generally their English was... More

I'm impressed with the decor in the room. Big and spacious room for the price. Toiletries provided. Flat screen TV, Double bed. I was given a room across the street (they have another block of hotels). Oversee the swimming pool. Doesn't feel safe as solo traveler as the entrance gate is left unattended from 10pm till next morning. Simple breakfast... More
