The balcony is huge. Choose the room facing the pool as it will not be as dark. Took this advice from tripadvisor and no regrets! Room is cozy and plasma tv mounted on the wall was fine but quite small. Shower handle broke while we used for the first time and this issue was handle mutiple times throughout our 1... More

We recently stayed In the hotel for nine days in a room overlooking the pool. This was our second time at the hotel and we will definitely be returning. We have stayed in many of the hotels in the area and lived in PP for six months so we know the place well La Safran is the best by far.... More

I just spent three weeks at le Safran during January; I stayed there for three weeks in January 2013 as well. Quiet, elegant guest house with excellent staff. The owner has great taste in furnishings and is in addition an outstanding Khmer and French chef, trained in Paris. Will return next year.

We loved this hotel. We booked a deluxe room overlooking the pool and we were not disappointed. The room size was great and the bathroom was spacious. The staff were very friendly and polite. The breakfasts were very tasty and fresh. We booked a taxi to pick us up from the airport and he was waiting for us. The driver... More

Recently enjoyed a three night stay during the Independence Day weekend. Clean, modern-French/Khmer style, quiet with great service. I booked a Superior room which was almost like a small apartment. Plenty of space and a welcome retreat from the hustle and bustle. It's situated on a street nearby the Independence Monument with many quality restaurants. Breakfast was simple, but delicious.... Arrived in Phnom Penh at nearly midnight and the staff at Le Safran La Suite sent a taxi for me. Because of my late booking I had to change rooms after one night which was fine, especially since they helped me move by luggage and arrange everything in the second room. Actually, I lucked out as the second room had... More

We stayed at LSLS in a double room and we're blown away at how modern and gorgeous the place is. Fantastic art, furniture and style. We arrived in the middle of a monsoon and we're welcomed by staff running out to take our bags and give us huge umbrellas! The staff are lovely here, always happy to help and always... More

Great place in the centre of the city. Very minimalist and modern. Clean, tidy almost clinically clean. Staff friendly and helpful but can be somewhat standoffish, more efficient that sociable. They seam to want to cater for a certain type of upwardly mobile person, that is where image is everything, style above substance. If that is what you're looking for... More
