The hostel is located in an expat area of phnom penh, so its more or less safe. The location is good for exploring the city. The facilities are okay and in a clean state. Although the bed (2 bed room) was terrible and the room quite small. Over all recommended.

We booked this place because it has pretty great reviews and they offer the option of staying in the "quiet" villa side. So, we booked a twin bunk room for the villa side, which stated specifically on their website and on the booking confirmation that it was a villa room on the villa side. Anyway, upon arrival, we were put... More

Noise does travel throughout the hostel and as people leave the bar upstairs via the stairs it sounds like a heard of elephants, so don't expect to sleep before 11:30. Also there are no "please keep quiet signs" so people think they can make as much noise all hours. I had to yell at a group of people for shouting... More

We stayed in a 10 bed dorm for 3 nights. Great big comfy beds, AC, very clean and lots of space. Overall really enjoyed our stay. The food in the restaurant is really good, and most of the dishes are good value ($5-6). Although a few items are slightly over priced ($5 for muesli, fruit, & yogurt), they do a... More

Stayed in the private double at the top floor. The air con hardly cooled the room down. the room was gigantic which was nice. The bathroom was okay, bathtub had some funny stains on it. Going from the mad monkey siem reap to PP felt a bit like a downgrade, the rooftop bar is more so the top level with... More

I didn’t even hear of another hostel option in PP while travelling. Everybody recommends the Mad Monkey hostels in Cambodia and the PP hostel well and truly lives up to it’s expectations. The downstairs restaurant is fantastic and the food (whilst a little pricey) is amazing. The rooftop bar in the Siem Reap hostel is better but the bar here... More

I stayed here for 3nights and loved it. Food from the restaurant was great, rooftop bar was always busy with a fellow travellers. Need to shot a bazuka for your country. The rooms are basic but clean and the staff very helpful. I would recommend this place it is also in a nice area with decent cafés and places to... More

Everything here was above and beyond my expectations of hostels. The rooms were very clean and well kept, the staff was incredibly helpful booking city tours and travel plans without hesitation or miscommunication (especially Sothea at the front desk!), the food was delicious and extensive, and the facilities were comprehensive - including a sweet rooftop bar. There needs to be... More

Good stay- nice bar and social closes at 11:30pm so people can sleep if needed or head out on a bar crawl. Nice and clean only negatives- private rooms are up a few flights of stairs and above the bar, the double room also had a window but into the corridor. Shared bathrooms are a very good standard for SEA... More

We stayed here for 3 nights and had a great time. We were at the location above reception, across the street from the bar/restaurant. The hostel is very social, and it's easy to meet people at the busy bar upstairs. The food at their restaurant is really good and reasonably priced considering the quality. We ate there for nearly every... More
