I Stayed here with my friend for a few days and wasn't disappointed at all! The main lounge/pool area is awesome! Comfy chairs, open concept and the pool is nice in the sun. The food and drinks are great and cheap as well! The staff here were amazing. Probably the friendliest staff I've ever encountered at a hostel. This made... More

Eighty8 backpackers is the place to stay in Phnom Penh! I was a bit nervous when I booked this place at first as I had no idea what to expect but I'm so happy that I booked it. My boyfriend and I stayed in a 6 bed mixed dorm and the beds were huge! There was staff that would clean... More

I've only tested the bar and swimming pool without using the dorms. I was in Phnom Penh for two weeks so I came to eighty eight hostel maybe 4/5 times. The music is not loud, the food is fresh, the swimming pool is clean, the chair are comfortable, the price are reasonable, Ask for a Jamaican cigar, and your day... More

Great bar, decent food, excellent staff (very friendly) and a pool. You can't ask for more. It's a little out-of-the-way, meaning its quiet at night, but still only a 5-10 minute walk to RIverside or a couple of dollars in a tuktuk. Room was a good size, clean and comfortable. However, a door rather than just a curtain on the... More

Very nice staff, rooms were clean and comfortable (we stayed in a private double with a balcony). Drinks and food exceeded expectations by far and I like that the staff turn off the music and wind things down by midnight. It shows that they're not interested in being the typical party hostel. Still, if you're getting a bunk, I'd suggest... More

My partner and I stayed at Eighty8 for 3 nights in July. We found the communal area awesome with a swimming pool, pool table, and many areas to chill out. They also have $2 cocktails during happy hour and $1 beers (4-7pm). The location is fine, but there are only a few eating options around the area. The street food... More

It was a 3-day trip to Phnom Penh that I decided to stay at 88 based on the reviews. In my experience in this hostel: Hostel - it's a 5-10 minutes tuktuk drive if you go to the market and main area of the city. It's a relaxing place, away from the noise of the city. There's a tuktuk outside... More

Great social area with good happy hour and a wide selection of food (Local and Western). Music playing creating social atmosphere around the pool/bar. Rooms - (stayed in a 6 person dorm). The room was clean and the beds were much larger than the standard single, would say about queen size! The room had an ensuite which was adequate. Only... More

I was only at this hostel on a stop over from Ho Chi Minh City to Siam Reap so only stayed for about 6 hours, however, I didn't want to leave. The beds in the dorm are genrous - doubles from memory and no bunks however rooms are quite loud from the music in the bar below. Pool and bar... More

I stayed here just one night. I sent them my details for a free pick up and that was perfect. As soon as I was off the bus the driver was there, holding a paper with my name on it. That was perfect. Sadly once I was at the hostel I found the driver to be slightly pushy about doing... More
