After the VERY bad chapter in "Lucky Guesthouse" (read my review), we went to Star Wood Inn. They received us with smiles, helped us with our solar electic bikes / luggages. It's a good rate for the services, even if they could try to avoid some noise on the last floor (maybe the motor of some air conditionner, I don't... More

The place itself is a great value for money, even though the hotel is a bit far from the main tourist district of Phnom Penh. (You can easily walk to S21 from there though.) At $11 for a good size fan room with a small balcony one really can't complain. All staff were friendly but there was a language barrier... More

The entrence of this inn is not so nice, yellow walls and too much weird stuff. The rooms are okey, you get what you pay for. The area is not so nice. But the customer service is great, many nice people work here. The place could just need some updating. Free wifi and water is awesome. Perfect for budget travellers!... More

the room was very nice with a comfy bed! great value. AC worked perfectly as did the hot showers. no problem with mosquitos as they burn citronella in the hallways. the wifi worked great in our room on the third floor! very fast. also, we booked a bus through them and it was far and away the best bus company... The room was really nice, clean and had a good bed. The only reason it's a four and not a five is that there were no twin rooms so me and my friend shared. This wasnt a problem for us but could be for others.

For what you pay, you get a clean room with air con, daily cleaning and water, tv, and it's a good location within walking distance of S-21 prison and Palace. Friendly staff and good wifi complete the package! Very well done and bizarrely quiet.

Helpful staff, adequate rooms. A little on the periphery of Phnom Penh's nightlife and typical tourist spaces...but there are always tuk-tuks outside to take you where you want to go. The Wi-Fi is pretty spotty in the evening...but otherwise okay. Nothing special...but a good budget stay for travelers seeking to avoid the hostel scene.

Great friendly staff and a nice lobby. The rooms are basic but clean. Nick the tuk tuk driver is great and the only one that seems to know the city and not get lost. I had a room at the front overlooking the street it seemed noisy at first but is really quit after midnight I slept well anyway. Due.... More
