I wanted to score this higher because the staff are so lovely and helpful but I simply can't. The staff team were the best asset of this hotel. Our room was pretty poor small smelly and mouldy. Luckily we were out all day and used it only to sleep. Stay away from 204. I'd ask for their best room next... More

I very much enjoyed my fiv night stay at this hotel. The room was clean, the staff was very friendly, and the location was perfect to explore Phnom Penh. I would have no problem staying here again. Highly recommended.

The hotel is well located near the museum, palace and river on 172 Street. Rooms are a bit old fashioned but are spacious, comfortable and clean, air conditioning and bathroom were fine. The room had tea/coffee making facilities, a good cupboard, working safety box and the hotel offers cheap laundry by the kilo. Staff were friendly and happy to help... More

Good budget hotel but the rooms are quite smalhowever they are very comfortable and serviced every day. t The balcomy overlooked the street so it could get quite noisy at times. Used room service and the food was excellent Transport is easily available 24/7 via the Tuk Tuks situated outside the hotel - they will take you anywhere inthe city... More

The Hotel is located close to the markets, river and lots of restaurants. Also a walking distance to the King's Palace. The staff were friendly and helpful and the free breakfast was excellent with a very good choice - not to be missed!! I have special thanks for Nea(at the front desk), who went the "extra mile" for me when... More

We stayed at Silver River for two days on each end of our trip - both times we had a nice room with a large shoer, a balcony and a soft mattress which is not always the case in Asia. It's a good location - easy walking to lots of restaurants, the Royal Palace and Silver pagaoda, the night markets... More

We have returned from a wonderful holiday in Cambodia and Vietnam which we took to celebrate our 25th and I am happily writing good reviews for everyone ... except Silver River Hotel. The staff on reception barely greeted us and just handed us the key, there was no explanation about breakfast times or where it was. Our first room smelt... More

I really enjoyed my stay. Very friendly and accommodating staff! Daily breakfast was simple but fresh and something for everyone. Everything was very clean and well presented. My room was simple but impeccably clean and a very comfortable bed. There was construction in the building next door, but it didn't bother me, I could have moved to the opposite side... More

Silver River Hotel have excellent location in 172 Street. Very quiet , even evening. No much bars, but very good restaurants inside walking distance: Laughing Fatman, Blue Dolphin, close to Friend's, Daughters of Cambodia etc. You can't be hungry. Walking distance also are Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda, National Museum, Wat Ounalom. Bed was OK. Bathroom not so good. Kettle have... More
