Flew into Phnom Penh from Bangkok, taxi straight to the hotel 12 dollars and stayed two nights. We found the hotel excellent the staff first class very helpful for all your needs, How some body can complain about a lift is beyond me there was nothing wrong with it a lift does what it does, it goes up and down... The rooms are fine if rather characterless, the location is outside of the main tourist area but it only costs about 3$ by tuk tuk and those seem to be readily available. i suspect some rooms have nice views - our featured a brick wall. The pillows really are, as someone else mentioned, ridiculous - rock hard and about 5... More

We arrived at Salita after our bus journey from HCMC which took 7 hours. The staff greeted us wonderfully, took our bags, gave us cold water and amazing wet towels to cool ourselves off with. The room was lovely, spacious and well equipped, especially for the price. Location is good, near to Olympic stadium. We walked to the S-21 Genocide... More

Salita hotel is a tidy and friendly budget hotel. After reading some reviews positive and negative we thought this would be suitable and well priced. - One TA reviewer complained of the one lift being slow. I personally didn't find this a problem - I had to wait over 4 minutes for the lift but I'm in no rush. -... More

Good location in the centre of Phnom Penh, walking distance or short ride to major attractions. Friendly hosts with strong English that helped organise reliable and cheap transfers and tours. Great Breakfast buffet included in price. Large and well serviced hotel with good facilities.

We had nice stay here for one night. Rooms are spacious with nice bathroom. Beds are comfortable, but pillows are ridiculous! They are two times bigger than normal pillows and hard. We had to sleep using towels under our heads because i am sure our necks would be in pain after using them. Breakfast isn't very good.

Phnom Penh isn't a big city and the hotel is situated a short distance from the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum. It is an average hotel and the rooms are just average. The lift is rather slow and can accommodate about 4-5 people. A lower floor is recommended but it will mean a longer ride to the 9th floor, where one... More

Very pleased with the amazing service, friendly staffs, and cleanliness here. This hotel and its staffs consistently go above and beyond to help make my stay very pleasant. The location is very peaceful and nearby to eateries, shops, and walking distance to local attractions (Genocide Museum and Olympic Stadium). Easy access if you need transportation. I found the staff very welcoming and the room comfortable, but not large, at this hotel. As others have noted, the location isn't the greatest (it's not seedy, but just Phnom Penh), but it is near the genocide museum. The best and safest (from a food quality perspective) place to eat is in the hotel's restaurant on the top floor.... More
