The welcome was again tea and fruit as we booked in. I liked this hotel, the staff were friendly and our rooms had a large window onto the street below. The rooms were big enough with a safe in the wardrobe, dressing gowns and slippers. The bed was a large double, very comfortable and clean. Tuc-tucs parked outside if we... More

The Cardamom Hotel in Phnom Penh is centrally located near the central markets and opposite the wonderful Romdeng Hotel. The Deluxe double room (number 609 is an excellent choice) at $78 US a night, offers a room safe, fridge and tea making facilities. The Cardamom also generally caters for groups. A standard room (like 605 below) is $58US. Breakfast is... More

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Stayed here as part of my Intrepid tour and for the price was reasonable. The construction outside was a pain, but the location was central and opposite to the best eatery in Phnom Penh - Romdeng.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights as part of the intrepid tour. We had expected the hotel to be simple yet clean, which it was but for the shower which can be temperamental. But what was annoying was the construction right outside our window which started at 6/7am and continued throughout the day, even on weekends. So much... More

Hotel alright, not great. Construction going on all around hotel - although to be fair, it's going on throughout Phnom Penh. Room alright but air conditioning only had two settings - off or blasting out very cold air. First night shower cool, next night no water pressure at all. Near to Central Market and a short walk from the centre... More

My daughter and I stayed at the Cardamom hotel for 1 night while in Phnom Penh. The room was comfortable and clean and the service was excellent. However the hot water appeared to be turned off at night so there was no hot water when we tried to shower at 5 AM. Breakfast was just okay. On the plus side,... More

We reserved a deluxe room which looked more like a standard. The room was pretty small compared to the standards of other hotels and the bathroom small. We didn't have hot water for a day which was quite unpleasant. Breakfast room was quite "boring" and we spotted couple of bugs. Choice was average. Staff was quite nice. It's about 1km... More

Very good budget hotel. The srvice is excellent. They have a very good spa, situated little bit away from the hotel but providing trsnsport to itfree of charge. Breakfast is also good eventhough the choice is bit less. It is situated near to the Airport so transport is not much of avproblem.

Good location plenty of restaurants in the area and close to royal palace, central market and shops. A 10 minute walk takes you to the river. The hotel was neat and tidy and our room was clean, comfortable and a decent size. Breakfast was reasonable. Free wifi.
