The property is a restored french mansion, conveniently located near the royal palace. Our deluxe room was a bit small, but they have much bigger ones. The pool area is lush and very relaxing. Service is good by local standards but can be improved. Breakfast selection could also be better. Overall though, this is a very good option for a... More

I stayed here 2 nights with a friend. Our twin room was right by the pool with a back door that opened to the pool. The room was nice and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is close walking distance to shopping and restaurants even though once you step inside you feel removed from the city with... More

We had dinner last night in the hotel dining area. Just simply perfect. I had a lunch meeting at the Plantation recently, and loved it. So I went back for dinner last night, and had the sea bass. The food: incredible. The staff: amazing and very very professional. The property: very nice, very clean, and very welcoming. It is very... More

Great location in touching distance of royal palace, national museum and river. Hotel is immaculately kept, staff are polite and attentive. Food in the hotel is more expensive but to be honest our meal from the restaurant was easily our best while in cambodia. Breakfast is nice and the pool is perfect with plenty of shade and fans all around... More

an oasis in the centre of town, 2 very nice pools amist tropical plants. very helpful staff. relatively simple rooms but tasteful and practical, pleasant restaurant inside (aircon) and terrace with view on inner court-yard. good value for money - to be recommended.

Beatiful set up and garden, excellent location, nice pool, good service, very helpful staff and Balinese manager. breakfast rather simple, no big choice hardly any Asian food, restaurant overprized., if you take tuk tuk in front of the door don't pay more than 1 $ to go to riverside. It's in walking distance anyway.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel in Feb, 2013 and my recent visit reaffirms this hotel as a tropical haven when the heat and noise from the streets of Phnom Penh threaten to overwhelm. Both pools are clean and ideal to cool off in or just relax on the sunbeds while sipping a drink served by nearby beverage staff.... More

A little bit of heaven and an oasis from the throng and hustle and bustle of Phnom Penh. I stayed here for 4 nights as part of a group in a photography tour. Our rooms were well appointed, clean, quiet and inviting. My room opened onto the pool area and was hidden amongst palms. The pool area was magical and... More

I previously reviewed this less than 6 months ago and I return for the 3rd time, again was very happy to do so. Staff do not forget repeat guests and gave me a a lovely welcome letter all signed. very kind. Hotel has become larger with a boutique Cambodia craft shop and cafe with additional small pool near the lobby.... More

Where to begin with The Plantation? It's centrally located so you can walk to a several of the landmarks in Phnom Pehn, including The National Museum,The Royal Palace, Wat Onalum, The Riverside Walk with all the restaurants and bars (including the FCC). If you don't want to walk, it's easily a $1.50 tuk-tuk ride to these locations. Many people have... More
