We stayed here having also stayed in the Sofitel at Seam Reap. Both hotels were outstanding with wonderful facilities, excellent service & dining experiences. Phnom Penh was very opulent yet friendly & their choice of restaurants was wonderful. The ones we enjoyed (Thai inspired buffet, Japanese, Italian ) all were of such a high culinary standard with excellent service which... More

This is yet another beautiful, exceedingly well run Sofitel property in Southeast Asia. Fairly new (I’d guess about five or six years old), Phnom Penh Phokeethra exemplifies the same quality of design, care, and service that the chain is known for. The rooms are large, well-appointed, comfortable and contain every amenity, including free wi-fi. The bathrooms are equally nice. Our... More

This hotel is plush and business focussed and not in the same league as the Sofitel in Siem Reap. We had requested a quiet room and were given a room at the end of the third floor corridor which was well set up. However, it was located close to a busy and noisy roadway running along the river. As the... More

Room was nice, I have bath tub and beside it there is a space for the shower. Hotel staff is very kind, Japanese staff also take care of us. I ordered a car of hotel which is BMW, it costs 120 dollars for 4 hours. The car with driver who speaks English brought us to Killing fields and S21. It... More

Ah Sofitel, you did it again. this brand of hotel is really having some great properties pop up around the world, and this one certainly does not disappoint. Driving along the burning roads, beeps of car horns, touts and dust, opens up the central driveway entry to the Sofitel. Rolling around to the lobby you are welcomed by colourful Cambodian... More

This is an excellent hotel. Ms Van at the Reception was efficient and welcoming. The Xmas brunch buffet was terrific. Full of expats and French champagne flowing. Excellent sushi/sashimi, oysters, western turkey and Xmas ham, cakes and chocolate for the kids. A great way to spend Xmas. The Club rooms are excellent. Views of PP. Excellent service. The swimming pool... More

First time visited Cambodia. Stayed in Sofitel. Didn't like the check in experience. Requested for a king size bed but was rejected because it was apparently full although I didn't see many humans around in my 3 nights there. Breakfast was good. Served different food every day. Room interior was not as modern as its lobby. Toilet didn't have bidet.... More

We stayed in a 10th floor Club Room. Spotlessly clean with everything you need. It was such a pleasure to walk in to a friendly greeting and a cool towel after a day exploring Phnom Penh. All staff were friendly and polite and helpful with restaurant bookings, arranging transport etc. Room service meal was delivered promptly. We had the pool... More

Had a wonderful stay here in the Sofitel Phnom Penh. The staff were attentive and courteous to a fault. We were staying at their junior suite which is actually just a normal room with an alcove and didn't feel comfortable and part of the whole room so it's not really worth paying more for it. They also lost a t-shirt... More

Service and rooms are great. Staff are friendly and helpful. Quality of meals is great, with a great selection for everyone at the buffet breakfast. Places of interest are easily reached by tuk tuk. If you are using a tuk tuk get staff to call one for you and discuss prices prior to agreeing.
