My wife and I stayed for three nights. Yes, we did only pay 30 $ / night and we were upgrated a category (w/ o balcony to balcony) when we were not happy with the room we got - no extra charge. We ordered non-smoking and this one was very smelly. The room was decent, the balcony actually pretty nice.... More

For the price this hotel is a real find.Clean ,good balcony, helpful; friendly staff.Excellent restaurant on quality and price.Location was not the main precinct which is along the river where there is more restaurants etc to choose from, but if you want a nice clean hotel at a reasonable price to go back to after touring ,with a good restaurant ,short stay... Friend and I stayed here for 2 nights in January. Rooms are clean and spacious, beds are quite hard but ok, yes it's noisy. Located on the corner of two busy streets, the noise is inevitable. But the location is quite convenient, being within 10mins walking distance of a main shopping center. The surrounding neighbourhood is filled with locals rather... More

I stayed at this hotel for three weeks in May-June 2011. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and the staff helpful and accommodating. The hotel offers interior rooms as well as street facing rooms with balconies (for a small extra charge). Some reviewers have complained about the street noise; I enjoy hearing the bustle of the city, so I... More

it is a very nice hotel with big rooms, friendly and helpful staff and an awesome breakfast omlete. it is also very close to the palace and there are always tuk-tuks around but it is maybe a 10min walk there so no hassle at all. it is also close to the bars and a big shopping center (but do not... We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. It is a modern hotel, with a quite chic restaurant, the room we had was large, but with a rather basic interior, it had a very nice and big balcony with deck-chairs. However, it faces a noisy street and a bar across the street with attendancies late into the morning (bring ear-buds)... More

This hotel is excellent value for money and staff are very helpful. Breakfast is included and more than you can eat and of excellent quality. We chose a room with balcony so we could watch the traffic chaos from our balcony at the end of the day. Apart from the bed being a little hard, the rooms are very large... More

Small clean hotel located 3 km from main "touristy" area (riverfront) which we appreciated. Staff spoke broken english and were very nice and helpful with all of our questions. Food at their restaurant was very good. We also loved that our room had a balcony.
