Stayed with eight other friends from 29 Apr to 3rd May 2015. Almost for four years with family and friends. All had a great stay despite owners facing staff shortage afer the Khmer New Year. A couple of issues surfaced, mainly miscomm on room cleaning on the first day but the owner's wife got to it right away. Good food... More

I was actually surprised by the price and the environment of this hotel, the blue tongue is cheapest hotel with acceptable quality one, if one have the short time visit in Phnom Penh, maybe should try on this place. By the way, in this district, you may see a lot of night bar and restaurant, never would feel boring of... More

First of all apologies to a couple of staff that do not deserve to be lumped with the 80% of the rest. The hotel staff were generally confused about policies such as whether or not a guest could charge food in the partner-hotel restaurant/bar next door. Mr. Tio was the confusing person who happened to be a supervisor. Another guest... More

In short perfect -staff friendly.great service -rooms modern clean -food tried most of the menu all tasty well priced and what must be one of the cleanest kitchens in South east Asia Breakfast reasonable choice and cooked to order for a couple of dollars -security no concerns whatsoever ,in fact left my usual small tip for the cleaners on the... Stay here most trips to PP, staff are nice and helpful. I get the dells rooms as they are a bargain. Food is great as is the coffee. The beds are comfortable and bathrooms large and clean. Walking distance to Riverside and Central Market ). For many more eating options head to riverside.

My wife and myself stayed for a week at the Blue Tongue, Phnom Penh mid last year and recently returned for a similar length of time. My wife loves the size and lay out of the rooms and bathrooms. (Very spacious) The whole atmosphere is relaxed but secure. Its high standards haven't changed. It is a very reliable, clean and... More

I have just enjoyed a 2 week stay at the Blue Tongue. I am travelling South East Asia with a friend of mine, who cancelled his booking at BT at the last minute due to a couple of 'reviews' on here. He stayed the first 2 nights at a similarly priced hotel a few minutes walk away but after seeing... More

I have stayed here several times and have had no issues or complaints ever. After reading the posts about cash being stolen from safety boxes I find that hard to believe as most of the thefts occur from the rooms, not by the staff or cleaners but rather by the night guests who are very light fingered in this part... I am a frequent visitor to this hotel , I have a few friends who stay there often . I am well aware of the security arrangements for guests safety lockers , I find it difficult to believe some of the previous posts that staff have accessed and stolen cash from guests security lockers , the locks are combo locks... I was staying on the riverfront at a guesthouse/bar called The Red Fox when due to a little "over enthusiastic St Patrick's day celebrations" I slipped and fell injuring my leg. The guest house owner Brett seeing my problems with climbing the stairs recommended the Blue Tongue as they had an elevator and we're centrally located for pharmacy clinics etc... More
