The rooms are in a state of disrepair. The curtains in my room were ripped. The plastic strip that you insert in a slot in the room to close the electrical circuit and have electricity was old and battered. Of course, it broke after about 5 days and they charged me 5 dollars for a new piece of plastic that... More

For me this is one of those middle of the road hotels. The rooms I stayed in were clean, the service is ok, not great and not bad. The food is ok, again not great but the food I had was fine. The breakfast is half price and one coffee or tea is free if you order a second cup... More

I knew I was taking a chance by booking this hotel as it is attached to the infamous Walkabout, but based on the good reviews and after visiting the place, I decided to take a chance and book it. The rooms are surprisingly nice and good value. The place is not especially clean (don't place your finger over closets or... More

We ended up booking in here quite late on the spot after problems with another hotel and we were so glad we did! Great value for money with lovely rooms, nice staff (most speak good English) and nice breakfast. We found the cleaning ladies a bit snide and giggly, there were 4 of them cleaning one room who made us... More

We have been staying at this cafe which is actually a hotel over the past 4 yrs. It's comfortable and serves a great breakfast at discount (if you're a guest). The breakfast is 2 eggs sunny side, with a side of either bacon, ham or sausage. I always order bacon. Beans, hash brown n mushroom completes the order you have... More

We chose the Blue Tongue Cafe due to its Trip Advisor reviews, and the obvious Aussie connection being a nice touch. And at $33 US a night for the suite, there is not too much we can complain about really. The hotel seems pretty new and in good condition; our room was big and clean, though a bit unusually laid... Totally loved this hotel for its location and chilled atmosphere. Spent only one evening, but enjoyed the AC and shower - huge shower head and plenty of hot water. Service was outstanding and friendly smiles all around.Phonm Pehn seems to be quiet lately, hence the cheap rates which are excellent for this time of year. I'll be heading back pretty... More

I have been in and out of phnom penh many times and I always choose to stay at this hotel. Why? Simple. AFFORDABLE (I paid like around 25USD a night) COMFORTABLE (well-equipped clean rooms) GREAT LOCATION (extremely close to city centre and right next to the night spots). Check this place out!

This is not a bad little place, actually. It's location is great, near Soriya shopping centre, Central market, Tonle Sap river. It's near the nightlife, and all that includes, but this is Asia and the whole thing is just great. Staff are very friendly and try very hard to please you, but there's always a slight miscommunication wherever you go.... More

If you are a light sleeper, expect to be disturbed by next door activity, luggage being dragged and even people talking in the lobby due to the thin walls. This was even though we were given a room on the 2nd floor. Beds are rather high. Bathroom is small and has no curtain. Wifi only in the cafe. Breakfast was... More
