The room was very smart looking but lacked many basics. There was no easily available power point in a sensible location - one near the desk also had the fridge and TV plugged in. Another was at floor level in a far corner. There was no where to place my suitcase other than on the floor, and no shelves to... More

Excellent location: close to the Royal Palace, the National Museum and the Riverside. Quiet street with nice little shops in the immediate surroundings. 10 air-conditioned rooms of decent size, comfortable and well furbished (including a safe in the room) with excellent Wi-Fi. The room we were given did not have a swimming pool but we were offered the possibility to... More

I stayed at the 240 for one night in a Private Pool with Terrace room, after a week at a conference at a larger Phnom Penh hotel. The pros: the private pool was nice, especially since the hotel does not have it's own pool for guests. If you book a room without a pool, you'll receive access to the Kabiki's... More

Stayed for 2 nights in Nov 2014 and found the place to be small yet cosy. The lady at reception was friendly and very approachable. Room was simple but clean and came with what you paid for. Breakfast at the organic cafe next door was simple but nice. Normally I stayed at The Pavilion but this time round I decided... More

We(DH & I) stayed here for one night in the double room in December 2014. Phnom Penh was the starting point of our 2 week cambodia-thailand trip. We reached the hotel and check in was smooth. Pros : - Location : within walking distance or a short tuk tuk ride to the royal palace, river front. - Rooms : Room... More

this was a small hotel with very helpful staff. We had (with friends) 2 rooms at the front with private plunge pools which was so welcome with the heat! It was very convenient for the sights and for those not so handy, tuk-tuks were permanently standing by, Breakfast was served in a cute restaurant next door. It probably should be... More

The 240 is a very nice and stylist boutique hotel in excellent location on 240 street - just very close to the royal palace, national museum or Independence Monument. Good organic restaurant "Naturae" in hotel where breakfast is served. However, very limited breakfast menue, e.g. muesli with yoghurt costs extra. With breakfast included you just get a little bit of... More

This hotel is located in walking distance to the royal palace, silver pagoda and the riverfront. Unlike many other hotels in this price range it has no pool but you can use the pool of the Plantation hotel which is also in walking distance for free. The rooms are very spacious, clean and some of them have a private terrace... More

After one of us had been suffering from food poisoning and after a 6 hour bus ride this was just what we needed. An absolute winner of a find. Modern rooms and bathrooms. Flowers in the room. Great location, near the Royal Palace and Monument Books. Easy walking distance to an ANZ atm, and an awesome shop across the road.... More

My travel to Phnom Penh was both gruelling and frightening and by the time I arrived I was questioning why I had even come. Walking into The 240 helped me forget my day and I spent the evening unwinding in my room indulging in it's amenities, the burnished wood floors, canopied bed, large shower, fresh flowers. The private pool on... More
