A real gem of a hotel and an oasis within the city! All the staff I met were utterly charming and delightful, very eager to please and provided service with warmth and with genuine smiles. The room was spotlessly clean, traditionally furnished and very comfortable with all the facilities that you may require, air conditioning worked well, Wi-Fi was a... More

Down a side street near the Royal Palace..Jean Luc and his team made us feel so welcome in this little oasis in the centre of it all.. Walking distance to most attractions..Great breakfast cooked and served with a smile. Quirky but great accommodation..

Stayed here for several days while seeing the city and attending a friends wedding. I agree with everything the most recent reviews have written in the way of great atmosphere, helpful staff, guest friendly. For me the smiling faces at breakfast each morning, the iced coffee and the quiet garden feel were a great way to start the day. Then... More

This was my first (but not last, I hope) stay at this small, quiet and pleasing old-fashioned, guest-friendly hotel. Located on unobtrusive 244 Street in the Royal Palace area, and surrounded by a high wall, the central rotunda building with ground floor reception/admin and rooms upstairs, and the 2 storey garden annex rooms on the right plus pool/bar/dining area on... this is a small boutique hotel excellent location in phenom phen. Under new management who are very attentive to your needs. Like a little oasis to come back to at the end of each day. Only thing was that there were a few hidden costs on the bill which we were not told about.

This is my 4th visit to Mystere and Mekong and it is maintaining its high standard. Under new management, the place is immaculately clean, pool is crystal clear and chilly (nice after a hot day of sightseeing) and the service is friendly. Fresh flowers around the hotel is a beautiful touch. The new manager, Jean Luc, was very helpful and went... More

The pictures looked great, and arriving after a tiring 12 hour flight from the UK via Bangkok we our fingers were firmly crossed. We needn't have worried. This is a great hotel, capturing the atmosphere of old Phnom Penh and in the shadow of the Royal Palace. Mysteres & Mekong is away from the noise and traffic of the river... More

Very helpful and friendly staff. The hotel and rooms are very comfortable and clean. Great place to stay if you want to get away from the buzz of river area. It is not easy to find, even tuk-tuk drivers didn't find it easily.
