The pictures looked great, and arriving after a tiring 12 hour flight from the UK via Bangkok we our fingers were firmly crossed. We needn't have worried. This is a great hotel, capturing the atmosphere of old Phnom Penh and in the shadow of the Royal Palace. Mysteres & Mekong is away from the noise and traffic of the river... More

Very helpful and friendly staff. The hotel and rooms are very comfortable and clean. Great place to stay if you want to get away from the buzz of river area. It is not easy to find, even tuk-tuk drivers didn't find it easily.

The manager Kim was immensely helpful during our visit which was so appreciated. The staff is there to support your every need. A lovely breakfast is served poolside and if you are not wanting to leave the hotel at night they will arrange for take away.

We booked at short notice on a web booking site for less than $50 per room. The hotel is based on an old two story colonial house with extensions. It is set in a beautiful garden with charming life-sized sculptures and a pool behind a high wall with a security guard at the gate. Our rooms were on the ground... More

Thr staff was friendly but the hotel and rooms are in need of an overhaul. The house is quite charming but the rooms are dark and for some reason the fan and AC are not fitted over the bed! The shower had a mind of its own..went from very hot to very cold. The location is quite nice..walking distance from... More

Nice green gardeny, rooms were clean although a little dark, staff seemed pretty helpful. building site across the street started early, the palace end of the street has a few homeless people and massive dirty smelly bins and the guard at the main gate is often asleep and you have to let yourself in. Our had no internet - we... More

I stayed 5 days at Mysteres and loved it. Staff was super friendly, especially Sophea the manager: making sure to know everyone's first name. The lodge is in a colonial style house which has been furnished with taste. The batrhoom was great, very clean, large and well though out. The pool is perfect for a quick refreshing dip in the... Traditional khmer style, room was a little bit dark but large, great bathroom, very helpful staff, near shopping, walking distance to palace and river, walking distance to good restaurants. Unfortunately some construction loud noises from a building site next door woke me up every days at 6:30-7. No restaurant in the hotel (except for breakfast but not included in room... More

We have just left the hotel and there were a variety of problems , just a warning and this is not the hotels fault there is a huge mound of rubbish in the same street and sadly beggars are now living amongst the rubbish cooking and sleeping in the lane. There was a dispute with the dust man but it was... There was a protest in garbage Company to raise the wages during the period you stayed and they had not been working for several days. However, this is a poor country please make sure you be familiar and read before visiting South East Asia if so you might have been very frustrated and maybe it would ruin your holiday. According...
