We only spent one night in this hotel because our first choice (Aqua Boutique Guesthouse) was overbooked. We were given a deluxe room and indeed it was VERY big with very high ceilings. Beds were reasonably comfortable. The problem though is that you get a very large room with very little to fit in there. Same for the bathroom: huge... More

Good value, but very dark room. Staff lovely but very limited english spoken. Breakfast also very basic and only one person serving..also doubled up as receptionist, doorman and everything else until other staff arrived. It is not an area that I felt comfortable walking around on my own, so not recommended for a female on her own. There is a... More

I have been staying here for a good number of times. I like the location and the room. For some reason the room felt dark and even with all lights on I found it difficult to work on my report. The little desk has been moved and it is now located in a dark corner. Staff is friendly but the... More

I stayed there for 3 nights and on the first night the key broke in the door at 8pm, They could not get it fixed until the next day, they offered another room, but my wife did have another room for business which we used, but for that night I had no access to any of my luggage including toiletries,... My third stay in this charming place ..... of course things do not run like a big hotel, but it's also what we are looking for .... just the athmosphere of an old building, and this one is marvelous ..... we apologize the new staff in the room just beginning to clean, she has to know better her job but... Beautiful old building and a huge room with balcony. However, the room was covered in dust as if it had been closed up for years. I had to show the cleaning staff where to clean it - couldn't even put things down on the bed table, it was so dirty. USED plaster on the floor. Place is disgusting! A keyring... More

French charm and large rooms at a very good price. Quiet area. Free breakfast too. Decent WIFI. Helpful staff. Good shower and tea and kettle in the rooms. Good retreat for couples from the less endearing bars in the area.

This place was just jaw-dropping. The location was great, but the look and feel of this beautiful old villa was what made the stay here so amazing. Not only was the room the size of an apartment, but the authentic tiling and wooden French shutters opening onto a lovely balcony really made it feel like I'd stepped back into colonial... More

Not really sure why someone would label kambuja inn as a boutique. It does not charge boutique prices so you get what you pay for and that is a very safe, comfortable place to stay in the heart of Phnom Penh . I discovered this place in 2004 and came back again for a few years until it was discovered... More

It was a relief to return mid day to rest and in the evening to Kambuja Inn during my 5 day stay in Phnom Penh. The staff were extraordinarily kind and helpful, the location was ideal on a side street, the old French mansion turned into a charming hotel was clean and quiet. Breakfast was good The family owners encourage... More
