I stayed here for 3 weeks while on a volunteer placement. The rooms where just what I needed to relax after a long day. The staff where the friendliest people ive ever come across and the food was quite nice as well. Is in a good location close to the centre of town and the river side. Id recommend this... More

This is a good budget hotel for its price, the staff are friendly and one speaks good English. The room is clean and reasonable. It is a little way out from the tourist area however. Also the six dollar coach to siem Reap was cheap but not the smoothest although you are with the local people

I stayed here for one night and was pleasantly surprised. The room was very reasonably priced, clean and in a decent area to travel from. I stayed in a double fan room with my friend for only $10/night! The staff was friendly and spoke great English. I would stay here again if in Phnom Penh.

Stayed here for only one night through a volunteering scheme. Staff are friendly, good Internet, rooms clean, bathroom worked fine. Not the most pleasant part of our stay in Cambodia and funny burning smell which i can only assume was from broken fuses hanging out of the wall. After staying here we soon realised that by paying a little more... More

Staff are very nice, food is good however the rooms are very old and smelt of burning. For $8 a night you can't expect wonders and you get what you pay for. If you're a fussy person, I'd advice you to pay that few dollars extra and find another guesthouse.

I know the country is poor, so I won't judge with Western Standards. The food was good, internet worked great, water and snacks for sale, and workers friendly. I will say, that the STENCH IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD is so thick and crazy you will get sick and prevent you from sleeping. Best in this city to just stay one night,... More

I stayed here while I volunteered for a month in Phnom Penh, teaching English. Lovely staff, clean bedrooms. Nothing to complain about for how much it was. The food was really good, too. Only a short walk from central market and an internet cafe if you find that the computers are a little slow.

Narin 2 is OK if you just need somewhere cheap to put your head down for a couple of nights. However, the facilities in the rooms are ancient to say the least .. doors hanging off, exposed wiring, TVs that don't work and a steady flow of hookers coming and going can make it noisy at night .. The restaurant... More

To the persons who wrote the "Terrible Experience" on 25 November 2010 what do you want ? I regularly stay at Narin 2. It is cheap at $6 for a double bedded room.OK the reception personnel are not the most friendly and talkative in the world but they are not totally dismissive of you. Try putting on a happy face.... Stayed there for 1 night. It's cheap and the room was pretty clean and not very small, bed is good. The window faced a wall though. The staff was ok, but not very friendly. When the electricity cut off in the whole block for couple of hours i had to ask them for a lamp and they were really surprised... More
