Location is good, easy to go to everywhere, there is a bus station nearby and water village is very close from the hostel! Staffs are very funny and helpful but not easy to find them :( The public area is very comfortable, room with A/C and the bed is big enough!! Highly recommend!!

i paid only 10 brunei dollar per night for a separate (men - women) dorm with AC. that's the cheapest accomodation around there, i think. just~dont expect too much like you'll get an excellent services. the staff there a lil bit hard to be found. but, since that youth hostel also located in the heart of city and near from... Positive: only 10 dollar a night, every traveler gets his private dorm, decent WIFI, a swimming pool next door for only 1 dollar, good location & AC in the rooms. If you are lucky and finally meet someone of the staff, you‘ll find out that they are very nice. Cons: 8 travelers and I waited an entire day before someone... More

Its the cheapest accomodation we could find in the city. Its only 5 min walk to the center of the city, and maybe 10 min to the riverfront, where you can catch boattaxis to the floating village. Men and women are seperated in each their section of the hostel, it's dormitrys and they're okay -although the bedsheets weren't changed after... More

This Youth hostel is on the main road of BSB and close to the town, night market, and the morning market as well. It is close to many tourist attractions too. At B$10.00/person/nt you get a clean room, with a single bed in a bunk bed, air conditioning, and clean bathroom with toilet paper, but clod showers only. The dorms... More

Would like to join the cast of travellers in celebrating the fact that this place is back open and living up to it's reputation. I went to Brunei back in October and stayed in BSB but was forced to stay in another hostel as this place was shut. However, was back there again at the beginning of April and found... More

I am glad to be one the first guest of the PBY Hostel in 2014. They are open since last week! Dorm's bed cost only 10 Bruneian Dollars (less than 8 USD) - actually it is cheaper and better than hostels in Kuala Lumpur, Kota Kinabalu (Sabah) or Miri (Sarawak) so I stayed one extra day discovering around the city.... This place is closed. So be prepared to look elsewhere. Pusat belia is actually very nice place to stay in Brunei due to location and price. We really sympathise with a group of girls form UK that arrived there and had to find other place to stay.

This review was for a trip in May 2011. We read about this hostel in the guidebook. We located this hostel and then waited and waited. No one came. After a while, we gave up and left to look for another hotel. We didn't know it would be so expensive in this city, so we scrapped our plans to stay... More
