I have stayed in the hotel twice during my visit to Dhaka , last year. The rooms were old but neat and clean. The staff were very courteous. Tasted the Bengali cuisine and enjoyed it. Overall it was good value for money.

Like several of the 'upmarket' hotels of Dhaka, the Ruposhi Bangla has an office in the arrivals area of the international airport of the city. The hotel's representative there persuaded my colleague that we should use this hotel, claiming it was an 'Intercontinental'. Upon arrival, we found it was not. Too late. It apparently used to be a Sheraton but... More

Very good hotel in Dhaka. Courteous $ Friendly staff. The Hotel rooms are good. Restaurant and food is awesome. Gymnasium and Spa is also very good. Only thing I hate about this hotel is its location. You got to go through a heavy traffic jam all the time to reach there.

The Ruposhi Bangla is the hotel i chose to stay during this my first visit to Bangladesh. the Place is nice but requires some modern upkeep specially the odor at all places. Rooms are nice and ambiance very charming. Staff is courteous but need to tone down on the "Sorry" and "Thank you" moments. we are not in the colonial... More

When ever I am in Dhaka, Ruposhi Bangla hotel's poolside is an essential place for me because it offers the perfect sense of tranquility which is a rare thing in Dhaka. Whenever I have free time I visit the poolside for a drink and snack. Even though I prefer Pan Pacific Sonargaon's poolside area more, this one at times seems... More

This hotel has gone through many iterations and owners. Countless dignitaries have stayed as well. During our stay, the foreign minister of India was either staying or attending a conference at the hotel. We can presume the hotel has lived up to some standards and security. Overall experience has been a good one.

I travelled to Dhaka for the first time last month and stayed at the Ruposhi Bangla Hotel for four days. Given the disquieting news of the political uncertainty, the consequent hartals and bandhs and the unbelievable traffic jam as we drove in from the airport, the hotel was an oasis of calm amidst the simmering tension outside. The quiet, non-intrusive... More
