This is a quiet place in a loud city. It feels removed from the chaos of the streets. The food that they cook is absolutely wonderful. We stayed two nights and would have been happy staying longer. Definitely recommend!

We were here for a family friend's wedding. The extra arrangements for taxi and trips away from the city we greatly appreciated. The food was delicious and available for breakfast, lunch and dinner. No one got any tip of intestinal problems. It was a wonderful trip that to the Ambrosia Hotel.

I stayed in this hotel twice. It is safe an comfortable. Staff are friendly and professional. Make sure to ask for a quiet room, the ones near to the main street can be noisy. Car can also be arranged by the hotel staff.

We stayed at Ambrosia in the main house and had a wonderful stay. The garden area makes the house very quiet and peaceful. The staff was very friendly and always eager to help. Mr Jahangir Alam was always prompt in answering all my questions and arranging anything we needed. I would not hesitate to stay here again when I visit... More

We were a party of five, staying at the Ambrosia at the start and the end of a Bangladesh trip. Two of our group were put in the next-door extension when we arrived, and felt isolated, and the manager sorted that out when we raised it. We confirmed our return date and thought we'd agreed five rooms in the main... More

This is an unabashedly positive review written soon after I returned from Bangladesh. A little background: for the first time visitor, Dhaka is a full-on attack on the senses and one is quickly overwhelmed by the pollution, traffic jams and pure chaos. This is where Ambrosia guesthouse comes in. With a secluded walled garden it has more of a boutique... More

Stayed 1 day at the main guest house and 3 days at the extended guesthouse. Main guesthouse - Rooms vary by size. The room I stayed which is closest to the 2 table dining area was very spacious. There's a manager working at all times to attend to any needs. I got all my clothes ironed by him for no... More

Ambrosia has around 5 different properties located close to each other in the heart of Dhaka. The rooms are clean and new. Good : Rooms, Home like atmosphere, good food and options around. Improvements : don't accept cards, wifi is patchy! No facilities for the price (gym, pool etc)

Ambrosia is a guesthouse, the layout includes a few communal lounge rooms and dining rooms. Bottles of water are provided daily and a laundry service is available. If you request it, vegetarian dinner is available. The dhal is great, as is the spinach and green bean looking chilli. There are 24 hour security guards which sadly are needed due to... More
