The hotel has very reasonable rates for Dhaka where normally hotels are very expensive. Staff is friendly but rooms are small and noisy, probably will get better when they finish renovation works. WiFi is quite good. The food in the restaurant is good but short selection

One of the most economical options in Dhaka, though the cost is low, the service isn't. Friendly staff, mouth-watering cuisine and a complementary airport pick-up and drop are additional reasons for staying here. The only challenge is the renovation works taking place in the fifth floor. Once the works are completed, I'm sure the hotel quality will further improve.

The rooms are definitely smallish, about half the size of what I had been consistently getting throughout Asia. AC cools only the bed area, leaving the bathroom area about 10F warmer. TV service often disrupted, just a snowy screen. Frequent power outages, but they did not last long. Bed was okay...semi-supportive, but not very comfortable...could feel the springs. Hallways are... Went on a three day business trip to Dhaka. Hotel was booked by the local contact there. Compared to other properties in Dhaka, the price was moderate even if it would have been termed expensive in any other part of the world. Was picked up by the Van sent by the Hotel at the Airport itself. The location is excellent... More

The limited competition of decent hotels at a decent price are hard to find. There is no major problems with this old and a bit run down and smelly hotel. It has an outdoor pool one floor up which can be used to do laps in.

The hotel currently has a major renovation programme underway. Currently they are working on the 5th (top) floor but the banging and hammering is very audible throughout from about 9am to (last night) about 7.30pm. It's pretty much impossible to work in the rooms. They say they will do the other floors in turn, so this could last a while. On... More

The rooms here are large and comfortable, the food is good and varied, the staff are very helpful, The rooms look a little faded in places but the air-conditioning is very efficient and the shower is excellent.

Excellent service which included breakfast in the room at 4.30 and shuttle to the airport. Nicely decorated and very comfortable rooms. This hotel can also be recommended for really good value for money.

Okay - number one you are in Dhaka - Number two you don't want to shell out for the plastic opulence of the Westin so here you are at the Royal Park. The rooms are comfortable and clean enough - in fact they were remodeling the place starting from the top down when we stayed there March 2014. Remember you're... More

I would say that this would be a place I would stay again if I was attempting to avoid somewhere much more expensive or touristy (Pan Pacific and Westin come to mind). The hotel is clean and welcoming and I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The rooms are on the small side and tended to smell... More
