After staying at Vung Tau, then ventured to Nha trang. Hotel directly opposite beach. Have a drink and lunch on the beach with service. Relax under huge beach umbrerllas with beach chairs and await the elegance. Everything on the beach. No need to move. Could be romantic. Then walk across the road to your hotel. Have a drink...dining in fine... more

I agree with the shabby tag. This hotel has spectacular views and some old world charm however it is in serious need of an update and refresh. Curtains didnt draw and the bathrooms leaked. The other problem is the staff. As visitors we felt in the way of their leisure activities. Staff continually on the guest internet facilities, playing computer... more

Stayed at Nha Trang Lodge for one night. The room was spacious but dated and basic for the price (room was 95US a night). Compared to other hotels we looked at in Nha Trang it was expensive and a little further from the action. Some of the issues we had was that the air con could not stay on unless... more

Hotel is past it's best times but still worth staying. Nothing spectacular but decent (not too big) room with small balcony, complete bathroom with some maintenance troubles (as usual in this price range in Vietnam), nice small pool and decent Breakfast buffet. Did not notice anything of the disco on Monday night, so probably mainly a weekend nuisance. Friendly staff... more

We arrived in Nha Trang with nothing booked and went straight to the Nha Trang Lodge - lonely planet said nice things about it!! They wanted USD65 for the room, whilst we took 5 minutes thinking about it outside the price had gone up to USD75 (standard room). We booked 2 nights but once we saw the room we knew... more

The hotel has a great location, but is far from a business caliber hotel. It has a disco in the basement that blasts head pounding beats until 1 am or later. The construction quality left no room for sound isolation - so as the reception kindly told us - there is not a quite room in the hotel when the... more

I rate this hotel in the 3-Star range. I stayed here for 3 nights, May 2,3,4, 2007. I had a Superior room, # 1138, on the eleventh floor with a wrap-around balcony, for $ 80 U.S.D. per night. Fantastic views of the coast line, and parts of the city. The room was average but comfortable. It had one of the... more

This is my thrid stay at Nha Trang Lodge. I travel to Nha Trang very often for business. Everytime I come here, I stay at Nha Trang Lodge but my recent stay in July 29 - Aug 1, 2007 was a terrible stay for me and my family. I booked a Suite room, so they put my family (me, my... more

the lodge is one of the bigger hotels in nha trang, and located on the main drag right across the street from the beach (dirty so we avoided it). it's a decent place to stay, clean and equipped with the big-hotel amenities if you're into that - pool, restaurant, nightclub. the room itself was a bit run-down (big stains on... more

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in March 2007. We payed $50 per room per night. All the rooms have a lovely sea view, the rooms are small but clean, could probably do with a bit of an update but they are OK. The hotel is right opposite a lovely beach and just a short walk to lots of... more
