Quality of room - Nice sized room with great air con and cheap canned beer and soft drinks. The bathroom is not great, lots of dirt on shower curtain, and my bathroom had this window that was ajar, through it was this wierd cell, as if it was used to keep naughty housemaids. Shower is nice though. Catering - breakfast... More

Stayed here as part of the tour. More than half of us had no hot water and our air conditioners did not work. Our fridge was not working so they put a block of ice in there, which of course proceeded to melt and flood the floor. Thank goodness we were only here for one night. When we checked out... More

At first i thought the comments on trip advisor might have been too harsh. I was wrong. Except for the location I can't think of a single good thing about this hotel. First thing the receptionists could barely put 2 sentences together in English. Had to resort to sign language most of the time. Arrived in the room, at first... More

I was a bit concerned about staying at this hotel after reading the reviews, but was happy enough with the choice. Rooms are on the smaller side, but clean and at a reasonable cost. The hotel is in a central location, near lovely restaurants and 2 blocks from the beach. Breakfast is primarily Russian focused and with a small selection... More

I would not recommend this. The hotel lobby is dark, when we arrived at first we thought the hotel was closed. The batteries of the remote control of the airconditioning were empty so we had troubles with the airconditioning a lot. There was no new roll of toilet paper, there was only a little bit left when we arrived! The... More

While my first impression was good, when I went to use the provided towels, they were really dirty. In addition, despite having 2 fans and an air conditioner on, the room was too hot. While the location was okay, I wouldn't come back.

We spent 2 nights in this hotel, We had a ceiling that leaked and a bathroom that flooded. When we complained, a member of staff arrived with a towel for the floor to collect the water from leaking ceiling and they just mopped up the wet bathroom floor. Not good enough really. The bathroom door was dodgy and it ended... More

The Oriole provided the comfort we were after at this point of the tour. It is an older style hotel with larger rooms, antique style western furniture and as our room had road frontage, we had a balcony. The bed was super comfortable and that is a treat in Vietnam where they seem to favour a harder type of mattress.... More

The Oriole Hotel is towards the end of town but still very convenient for eateries, the beach and night bars. The whole of Nha Trang can be walked in a day easily and this hotel was certainly central enough unless you had real mobility problems. The hotel and my room were clean. My room had A/C & Fan, Mini Bar,... More
