HUE Sports Hotel has the most rude and terrible hotel staff I have every met in all of Vietnam! I made bookings in Hanoi at Sinh Cafe ( Hang and Oanh are the names of agents ) for 2 nites stay with this Hotel. I was assured that a room will be available for me as soon as I arrive... More

I am the manager of Sports 1 hotel on 15 Pham Ngu Lao, I am writing in response to the complaint dated May 21, 2008. Our check-in policy is 12pm. However we do allow our guests to check in early if rooms are available. This poster booked through Sinh cafe in hanoi, there are hundreds of fake Sinh cafe in... More

We arrived at 8am , tired out from an early morning flight and had no expectation of our room being ready, so asked if we could leave our bags while we waited. The sweetie on the front desk was so apologetic that they could not give us a room right away, and offered us the use of a family room... More

My wife and I travel to Vietnam frequently and have stayed in many hotels in Hue, from non-rated to four star. This was our worst experience. We made the reservation directly with Miss An, one of the staff, by telephone from Saigon. We reserved a room for four days and asked if there was airport pickup - she said no.... More

Despite the positive comments that other people stated, which I am sure is true to a certain extend, I have to report a poor experience with them. We booked and received email confirmation with them, which was acknowledged on arrival in on Jan 7th 2008. Despite arriving at 1230pm, they said that our room was not ready yet and it... More

Recommended to all who wants to stay in Hue. Clean sheets & quilt. Clean room. The boss is very friendly. The buffet breakfast is a bonus. Good coffee and the fried rice they have, in my opinion is the best fried rice I ever had in Vietnam. The only improvement that I can recall is that if the bath tub... More

We were referred to this hotel from the Peace Hotel in Hoi An and stayed for three nights. A hotel staff member collected us from the Hahn Cafe drop off point just around the corner where we arrived after a three hour bus trip from Hoi An. Right from the start the staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. The location... More

We stayed here for 3 nights. It is over priced if you book through a website, there is a problem with damp and when we stayed there were loud building works either side of the hotel which started at 7am every day. However the staff were very friendly, there was a (simple) free breakfast and the rooms was big and... More

We had reservations (with deposits) for the Sports Hotel in Hanoi and Hue. We showed up at both hotels and both times they said that they did not have our room available and tried to get us to go to another (worse) hotel with the promise that they would have our room first thing in the morning (which they did... Located in the center of the small town Hue, lies the Sports Hotel. It's close to the major touristattractions in Hue, but so are most of the hotels. Confenient located in a more or less quiet street filled with good and less good restaurants. when you arive to Hue, don't get intimidated by all the motorbike and cyclo riders. Just... More
