We put our 4 travelling bikes exactly where security wanted us to put them and locked all 4 of them together. Later on they wanted to 'sweep' that spot and carelessly shoved all four locked bikes to a very different spot. They knew who and where we were and could have easily asked us to move the bikes after unlocking... More

The hotel itself is ok... And I mean ok rather than good. The room is fine, although it did have a load of Mosquitos flying around! But, the main problem is the staff. The lady at reception was incredibly rude to me on arrival (ranging from the way she looked at me to the way she spoke to me), which... More

Very large rooms at this centrally located hotel. There are fantastic views from the upper floors, and the balcony came in handy for drying clothes drenched with sweat. The railings surrounding the property created a degree of peace and security, with pushy cyclo drivers forced to wait beyond the main gates. There is a fitness centre, souvenir shop, tour desk,... Rooms with balcony quite comfortable. The breakfast was disappointing and on 2 separate occasions, the tablecloths were soiled.A lovely gesture was that on International Womens Day (March 8), we were presented with a nice long stem rose.We found communication with housekeeping a bit frustrating with language. As we only needed the room to sleep and for ablutions, it was satisfactory and it... Nice hotel located not too far from the local sights. We didn't have too much trouble, the food was nice and the place is quite easy to find at night. We had little interaction with the staff but were treated quite well, particularly after first going to Duy Tan 2 by accident, it's worth remembering there are two hotels in... More

Can't go wrong for a one night stay like we had. Clean and comfortable. 15-20 min walk across the bridge to the citadel. Also 1 minute walk from the excellent family home restaurant which is 2nd on tripadvisor. Only difficulty was trying to ask reception to make a reservation for us at Les Jardins (go there, great food!) and we... More

They almost do not want to serve 24/7. I had big trouble when i arrived very early morning and no one open the door to let me check in that time. I lost 15 minutes to stand outside and luckily one security guide welcome me after. The breakfast only serve from 6 am to 8 am, so do not wake... More

I stayed there 3 nights, paid about USD 25 per night for a double room. The service was a little bit lacking, the room was basic but clean and it was worth for the money. Breakfast was good. The location is good, in the city center. It was the reason I chose this hotel. However as I later recognized, major... More

The Duy Tan Hotel is clean and spacious; well positioned for the centre. It has a lift so no luggage problems. Breakfast provided a wide choice of Asian and European dishes - a limitless buffet with good coffee. My room (205) was clean and spacious - see photo; providing a fan and A/C; a hot powerful shower and a bath... More
