We stayed at this hotel in April 2007. The hotel name is actually "Festival Hue Hotel" (NOTE: "Festival Hotel" is in the old town, but this one is in the new town), formerly known as Dong Da Hotel. Better know this as a taxi would take you to the completely opposite side of the town otherwise. This was a fairly... more

Our family of four stayed at the Festival Hue Hotel in January 2008 for 2 nights. It was very clean and comfortable. We had a family suite with a master bedroom with a king size bed and another room with a king size and a single bed. 2 televisions and 2 fridges, good bathroom and a small balcony overlooking the... more

Arrived late at night, after a taxi ride from hell, told only the executive suite available, due to festive holidays. decided to take it even though $125US per night. Huge bed but so hard it made my hip go numb, opted to sleep on my pillow. My daughter slept on the lounge, equally as hard and no bed linen, used a... more

Luckily I checked in late at night and out first thing in the morning. Room was "tired" and in need of a revamp. Floor mats were filthy and the walls stained. The AC barely worked and so struggled to sleep in the heat. I asked for a pool-side view (as had been suggested to me) and the noise was minimal.... more

This hotel has recently been renamed. It used to be the Da Dong hotel, which had a poor review on TripAdviser. Wish we'd known. Spent 2 nights here in February. We disliked it; beds were very hard, rooms were basic, breakfast mediocre. Position was poor; technically not too long a walk to the river or the restaurant district, but actually... more

This hotel was better than it looks online. Although it looks a bit old, it was quite charming, and had a friendly staff, and inexpensive internet. The front desk was accomodating, and we were please with the rooms and bathroom. It had good television (since we were sick and stayed in for half the day), and Little Italy Restaurant delivers... more

Good 3 star hotel within walking distance to Perfume River. Good size room with timber floors and comfortable beds. Popular with tour groups. Not a bad place for a short stay but nothing extraordinary. more
