We stayed one night at the Hue Queen Hotel as part of our extended family 2-week holiday to Vietnam to celebrate my mother's birthday. We were a group of 14 made up of 8 adults and 6 children (ranging in age from 4 to 12). The night at this hotel was part of our trip that was organised by South... more

This place is OK but is getting a little run down - rooms smell smoky and the bathrooms could uses a renovation. But it does have on OK pool. A better choice is their annexe (called Queen II Hotel), a couple of streets away, and although the styling aint exactly up-to-the-moment, it (Queen II) is less than a year old.... more

Stayed for 3 nights, hotel clean, room pleasant, staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fairly good, especially for a Vietnamese hotel, but do not expect a Full English! There is a small swimming pool! Location was reasonably close to main areas of interest, and good places to eat, but walking down from the river direction area seems a bit run-down,... more

Convenient location on a quiet side street close to the main drag with local fruit, vegetable, and food vendors less than a block away. Room was very nice and clean. The lock in my door did not work and two staff members came immediately to fix it. The buffet breakfast was excellent and very busy with other travellers and tour... more

Rooms were clean but smell from drains was overpowering - even on 8th floor. Breakfast was good but wouldn't recommend staying there for dinner - no-one else seems to and everything seems to take forever. We got our pre-dinner cocktails as we were thinking about dessert ! Not sure I would want to walk on the street from this hotel. more

A very good mid-range hotel, 5 minutes walk to the main tourist precinct. Superior bedding, touch of luxury in the bathrooms and well-furnished, even if the decor leans to Asian laquer kitsch with tiled floors. Very good service and the buffet breakfasts match 5-star hotels I've stayed in. Small pool is only for the heat afflicted and I suspect the... more

Nice new hotel, with very comfortable and modern rooms, good beds, good a/c, nice bathroom. However, there was a seriously unpleasant strong smell to the bathroom pipes (though perhaps it was due to the recent floods? ) Other than that, a fine place to stay. Note: on check-in, they will immediately ask you about your plans and propose outrageously priced... more

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in Vietnam. The staff were excellent, even managing to personally assist you when they had a large influx of tourists via a bus. The rooms are bright, clean; the laundry service is fast and cheap; They have a generator now to compensate for black-outs - handy! The Wi-Fi system could... more

We really liked this hotel. We were only in Hue 1 night but definitely could have stayed at the hotel for at least one more. The hotel I believe is fairly new, and everything in the rooms look and feel new. We were on the 7th floor, and had a great view of the city and the mountains in the... more
